Yay! The last of the Halloween Soaps I've made will be the start of my video's for my extra fun Halloween Soaps. These will be available on the 10/10/2020 on our website, at 12:00 Noon Sharp, EST.
I made this soap in a 3 part process, and made it with the help of many excellent makers who were either a direct part or an indirect part of making this soap.
Let's start with that incredible soap dough pumpkin that is featured front and center was made by the incredibly talented Jenny Kimberlin Huffman. She can be found on Facebook in the Sorcery Soap Creations page, which you should join anyways, as it's an Amazing group!
On to the bats and ghosts! These are made with a combo of products from two other incredibly talented women.
Lets start with soap dough from www.sorcerysoap.com! While you can make your own soap dough, (indeed Bee, the owner of Sorcery Soap, has written serval amazing books, hundreds of blog articles, and made oodles of videos to teach you just how to do that.) I happen to prefer buying soap dough from her directly for many of my creations.
Thanks to Bee, I learned to use soap dough with a clay extruder, and that leads me to a second amazing maker, Lisa, from www.idreaminsoap.co.uk
She makes the amazing Cat Mold that I use to make cat soaps, but she also makes fantastic extruder disks, which I use to make the bats and the ghosts through out all of this Halloween
specific part of the collection.
I hand molded the candy corns, and the smaller pumpkins, also with sorcery soap dough :)
I used Crisp Juniper from Nurture Soap Supply for the Moon, which behaves great and I think
de-accelerated/reversed trace. It can be found here: ( Full disclosure I am a Nurture Soap Affiliate, and a nice way to thank me for making these videos and sharing my suppliers is to follow the link below)

For the color I used activated charcoal also from Nurture Soap:

The body of the soap is scented with Espresso and Rich Dark Chocolate from Brambleberry.
Please note, if you are new to cold process soap making, do as I say and not as I do.
I routinely soap in short sleeves with long gloves, and a face shield. (Which you can see very briefly in my Lemonder Blue Bee video, it’s a bit scary, sorry! )
However, you should always soap in long sleeves and with full protective gear! Lye is dangerous, as it is hot soap!
I hope you have enjoyed this video, if you have, a thumbs up and a comment really do make my day. I read each and every one, and appreciate them tremendously!
If you didn’t enjoy it, and left a thumbs down, let me know why in the comments! I always appreciate constructive criticism.
Happy soaping!
