This is a superb film that really is built on the excellence of German Weimar period expressionists films. Klaus Kinski is just amazing.

we loved you mr herzoq in greece especially for this movie we very liked it but the others too.i had seen it many many times across the years and it always entertained me with a good way.i have it in my collection cause i ve never seen any other movie produced with that story flow ,like a poem,like a painting.even the imperfectionistic small things for the times makes it more original and better.i relaxed in that movie so much that i didnt want it to end.the castle shots with kinski,the ship,the town,the room with kinski and adjani and the incredible ending is the best in all vampyre movies.you keeped that expressionistic and intellectual style im so missed in today movies.i hope you made a second part of that movie but i know its difficult now but i so much wanted a second vampyre part too badly.a desire to fell again to what i felt in this here.i liked the german voice version more.now you have too much visual effects that if you made it again a second part if its gonna be better or worst.the camera filters of that time was special that i dont know if there are any cameras left from that time and the absense of digital effects makes it so unigue...i understand if you dont want to make another part of nosferatu very well,kinski would not be in the role but if you do make a second part now it would be a so daring move.i just express my desires cause that film stigmatized me so good...

I love this movie after seeing it in 1997. Watch it every Halloween at least three times.

From what I understand this film had a relatively brief shooting schedule. Look how small the crew is compared to American films. Kinski was just excellent in this.

Three Dutch actors (for as far I know) are, “Rijk de Gooyer” as the policeman, “John Leddy” as coachman “Lo van Hensbergen” as musician

Very sad to think that for every rat we see there were 2 others boiled alive or cannibalised. No piece of art warrants animal cruelty.

both movies are great but you cannot compairing them .the one goes for realistic and new style movie,the other is like an old poem an evolved expressionism that musik,atmosphere,the fandastic realism it has,the story is unigue and makes you think and is like a hypnotic movie,even the cameras that shot it,the filters are awesome and compairing the budgets and the time there where out they are both great movies...
@observer84774 жыл бұрын
you cant compare those two both are good for there own reasons,but herzoqs was the deal i think cause of the limited technology and the unigue atmosphere and camera filters.so crazy filmmaking.i like copolas too but its another thing.i vote for herzoq,but both loved...
