My friend that passed away recently worked her way through college as a “bunny” and said that her experience was fun, clean, wholesome and there were many rules that she had to follow. The documentary was very interesting and I will definitely recommend it to others!

I'll tell you this: If the gender roles were reversed, and this were a story about a young woman who left her husband, founded a publishing empire, and led a liberated lifestyle that was fulfilling and exciting? There would be less finger shaking in this documentary.

A classic narcissist through and through. Too bad the 50's America bought into this selfish orientation as it wasn't healthy at all. A very unbalanced point of view.

What perception ever gave you the idea this "...was bought into by 1950s America?" You're a classic nonexpert on an era you didn't live in. Another proof that education isn't stronger than a narcissist's viewpoint. Takes a narcissist to recognize a narcissist.

Yes, and not the number of times Hefner screwed a playmate. I worked for a magazine distributor. The stars were a "printing code" of area distribution. Unsold magazines aren't returned to the vendor, but the covers of the magazines are returned for credit and to show what wasn't sold and where the magazine site area was.

The entire episode you're straining to create a negative narrative.
@Redmenace964 күн бұрын
Of course. We have to be sensitive to everyone's reality, now. The women were exploited and objectified. No matter how many of the women relate that they had fun and it was a great experience. Don't let the facts challenge your narrative and current values.
@bnwo4 күн бұрын
@@Redmenace96 you are very odd because the women are being interviewed in the documentary and did not claim what you just claimed.

@@bnwo Eggg-zactly. You paid attention, thank you! I was referring to the narration and the talking head commentary. Not the actual people involved.
So you know more about Hugh Hefner and Playboy than the people who actually worked for him and his company? Just because some women had a positive experience with Playboy doesn't mean they all did.

@@thatvikingtemper My point is, NOBODY had anything bad to say about him until AFTER his death when he couldn't defend himself. That's bullsh*t. If he was such a terrible person why not speak out while he's still alive? Makes me think it's all lies.🤷♀️
@thatvikingtemper13 күн бұрын
@@Jebbie1976 You don't know that. Maybe some of the women he mistreated tried to speak up but were threatened with consequences or ignored? Times were different back then and women were encouraged to "be nice" no matter what. It's a shame that some men just don't understand that.
