Even though Laurits didn't show any signs of being another mythical being like his brother, he really gave me the feel of Loki - tricky, flirty and sly, like to tease Magne but always ready to stand by his side, etc. I'm looking forward for ss2 Edit: See a lot of ppl assumed Laurits was Loki because he's Magne's brother. Uhm... no? Loki is not Thor's brother?! It's just Marvel's thing??! I think of Laurits as Loki because of his characteristics, not Magne.

Laurits is probably like Magne before he was awoken by the seeress? Like he has it within, but he's probably not aware. Magne had strong tor-like qualities, but he only realized it after he was awoken

Be interesting if he’s actually his half brother, because mom talks about having a crush on the jutul dad. Maybe they left town due to that pregnancy. So he fits the character of Loki even more then.

I really loved isolde. I was really looking forward to her and magnes storyline. But nonetheless i still loved the show. I hope netflix doesn't crap on it like other shows. The cast is perfect. Im also really interested in iman's story. She's really eye-catching.

Something I've noticed about this cast, which may be a reflection of norwegians is how... lovely they are about each other. I mean, norwegian people have a reputation of being "cold" but I think it's more about them liking their space. But when they talk about people they care about they talk with feelings. They don't just say "oh, this person is awesome".

@@IneAinn Absolutely, but if you ever meet a Scandinavian remember this: We used to have something called "janteloven" which were a set of social rules(they're getting more and more phased out over time but it's still deep in our cultures), I won't say everything but basically: "don't think you're anything special, ego is a biiiiig no go with us, regardless of income, where you're from, any sense of ego is the biggest "crime" you can commit socially.

I just finished watching this show a few days ago. Like I binged the whole series in about five days. And the shit Laurits pulled off on the entire first season (especially the Ran impersonation in S1E6!) gave me MAJOR Loki vibes even before I knew he was gonna be Loki. Like, flawless. I even dare say I like Laurits' Loki more than MCU's Loki! Awesome show. Hoping for a season 3!
