Dave, you know we loved The Wonder Years, look how many BBQ’s and cheesecakes we’ve had since standing in your shop that first time. No one knows what they’re capable of achieving until they take the first step on the journey, but you do have a fantastic support team and we’ll be seeing you soon xx

Aww dave, wonder years was awesome, those horrible people are just shallow minded and don't have that fascination or childlike amazement anymore they lost that freedom of spirit, nostalgia isn't a childish state of mind. I loved working there, you were the best boss. And created something amazing for all ages. Don't let the world get you down dave. 😊

I've been watching you for 6 months or so, basically from your walk through Totnes video, as it was a place I had some great experiences. I can see what you're attempting to do. For a couple of years I've bought a couple dozen Airfix / Tamiya plastic model kits. I've only made a few of them - but it reminds me of happier more carefree days from childhood. Even browsing my local model shop, here in Brisbane AU, is a great experience. And sometimes I pick up a kit, that I have a 90% chance of never actually making. But It puts a warm smile on my face. Blokes in their late 50's / 60's are a big part of this resurgence in model making. We outnumber the kids browsing the shop. It's old farts like me who keep Airfix going, as we're reliving part of our childhood. No bad thing in this messed-up world... I feel sorry for kids today - they have been robbed of so much in their childhood that we all took for granted, and they don't even know it.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to share and watch my antics, I loved making airfix models, but always seemed to mess them up doing the paint job, but it didn't matter, to me they where perfect. I think that's where the truth of childhood lays, the joy of play, it's the imaginary world we enter, my mind made the perfect paint job, only as a child do we have the time to truly find that place. As a adult paying bills, been in traffic jams, working in jobs that can if you let them pigeon hole us, take us away from the most wonderful, magical thing called PLAY. The saddest thing is we were all lead to believe that the adult world is the magical land of freedom and choice, and in lots of ways it is, but it expects you to leave childhood, but it never was suppose to be 100%. I feel the adult world doesn't allow for play. It's great to see that in the last few years your grabbing back what is rightly yours, make, collect, but promise me one thing... when you do make a model, it only is complete when you rush it through the air, dive bombing making the rat-a-tat sound of manic machine fire! Again thanks for commenting, I cant put into words what a tonic and a lift to help me get off my ass and finish my dream it is!

@@davidbanford8705 Today, kids don't use their imaginations like that. They are receivers of someone else's imagination via tablets or computer games. And now, much of what they are seeing is made by artificial intelligence tools, and not even people creating it from scratch. This will have terrible consequences for the rest of their lives, and they will achieve less. It's all in the words: Imagine Im-a-gine Im a Gi Ne I'm a Genie Imagine I-magi-ne I Magi/Magician Ne ('ne' - the legal name of a man, 'Man' from Latin "Men' - 'Mentis' - to think)
