I own several Pilot fountain pens, & my esteem for their manufacture has increased the love for these fine writing instruments - Thank you !

8:20 some people are going to say, 'aaah its too tight, it won't write', but given the fact and a Pilot Capless that I own is like that, it writes, gold's softness makes tight flow adjustments easier than steel. 8:00 the process that we didn't see is how this 'getting the tines closer together' were happening after its slit cut, metallic shine angles shown that it is under sprung position, there should be a mandrel/jig that pushes the shape of the nib to a little bit downwards, so little its invisible but we can see an angle change of metallic reflection, from curved, to slightly flattened(you can see this better on big nib like 845, however some big nibs can still be little more tubular), it is effective to bring the tines together(Criss-crossing the tines do not work!)
