We don't typically say "epic," but we couldn't think of a better word to describe this day! Thank you Soneva Fushi! www.soneva.com... Today we woke up in our dreamy villa and rode our bikes to the breakfast buffet on the beach. It was overwhelmingly delicious! Next our very own "Mr. Friday" gave us a tour of the whole island via golf cart. It ended at Soneva Fushi's private yacht where we jumped off 7 meters into the ocean! We then took a boat to our VERY OWN ISLAND! They packed us a cooler and a cell phone and left us on the most beautiful tiny island with only an umbrella and overwater hammock! It was raining and cloudy when they dropped us off, but thankfully it cleared up so we quickly frolicked along the beach and flew the drone, and it went by WAY too fast! Next, we grabbed a quick lunch which just happened to include a buffet of my favorite food - SUSHI! And then we ride 25 minutes via speedboat to a snorkeling spot with the island's marine biologist (YEP). It was the bluest, warmest, clearest water we've ever been in, and we saw sea turtles and huge sting rays! After that we got on ANOTHER boat for a dolphin sunset sail complete with champagne and gourmet snacks. We watched Spinner Dolphins play while the sun went down behind them, and IT WAS THE MOST MAGICAL DAY OF OUR LIVES :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this KZbin channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! I’m sure they told you, but what you witnessed with the spinner dolphins was the adults teaching the babies to spin. That’s why when the baby’s jumped up they kinda belly flopped. We witnessed this in Hawaii.

Yes, Nate, every resort /should/ have a marine biologist! Too many impacts on the environment from our interactions with places like these. Did you guys hear about the whale-watching cruises/ excursions off Canada and Alaska? Turns out it's been doing terrible things to the whales, and, in turn, the maritime environment, which has knocked back the fishing.

I’m late to the party guys but what camera setup did y’all use on this one Kara and Nate? It was absolutely gorgeous and I’ve added the Maldives to my bucket list also due to this video. I have ESRD and had a heart attack a couple of years ago. So I have to do dialysis 3 times a week. And I’m only 39. Your guys videos have made me want to travel so much once I get my new kidney.
