I went to this site because I heard it was a historical site for Nagas. I thought that the people present there will have the knowledge of stone and excavated site but to be honest they people who took us there had very little knowledge about the site . So I had to cut most of the part of what they said . Before I went there I did check on Google and it was different from what i saw in Google. So the video may seem incomplete but please forgive me for that .

I as a Christian, the origination of Ao tribe from the stone can not be accepted logically at this age since the human was created in the image of God according to the Bible and hence it's high time to start researching the very story so that reality is reviled/blessed from the Almighty.

Thanks for visiting my old village... According to oral history Ao ( three clans - Tongpok ( pongen), longpok (longkumer) and longjakrep ( jamir) originated from these six stones . But this is not confined to Ao alone but also to the surrounding tribes such as Sangtam, Chang and Phoms. It is said that earlier all these people were living together in one village but later on they went to different places ( which they are settled now) and for the Aos, the went to Ungma village side from this village after crossing Dikhu river through a Cane bridge so they were called by the tribe name Ao. But this source is widely accepted by the Aos alone... And actually the villagers have good knowledge of this histroical place.They know more than what we will find in google but I guess they didnt explain u in detail... thanks for visiting once again 👍

Nagas in general did not have any written record, only source was oral. So our origin and migration still is a myth and one cannot fully assume the fact that we originated from a particular place. Be it Khezhakenoma or Longtrok, only way is to preserve such sites. Besides Neolithic finding in Chungliyimiti also suggest certain affinities with Neolithic culture. Who knows such stones at Longtrok may also be some kind of megalithic practice. Further excavation may reveal such myth. But yes, myths do have social, political, cultural and economic importance. As such they indicate certain things for sure.
@marshalomen1318

Seems like our ancestors were more civilized and they were expertise in carving etc(why not, look at our attire, ornaments etc) So, maybe they carved real life statues of the real person, and the interpretation got messed up!! Failing to recognize the person of the statue and confused with the oral that they came out of stones instead! Just my thoughts! Because we know stones can't give birth to humans. Just trying to see it logically and no intention to hurt anyone's sentiment. ✌🏻
@nilokaachumi9227
@nilokaachumi9227 Жыл бұрын
@@marshalomen1318 of course such megalithic structure has something to provide be it of social, economic, religious or political life. One cannot be certain as to what particularly does it stands for and as such there can be many misinterpretation. Archaeology findings and discoveries may further unravel many facts.
@nilokaachumi9227
@nilokaachumi9227 Жыл бұрын
@@marshalomen1318 that very word civilised doesn't necessarily fits in because being headhunters, we were ascribed as Savages instead.
@marshalomen1318
@marshalomen1318 Жыл бұрын
@@nilokaachumi9227 civilised or advance... In the sense of knowledge, Because our ancestors were not Christian so they practiced headhunting. It doesn't mean uncivilized or backwards, it was their practices, why can't we argue the modernist military? They are doing the same killing, the only thing is they don't worship the ancient Gods and practices. How about muslim? They still doesn't halal, that doesn't mean they are uncivilized, it's a practice , culture, It was the Westerners who brainwashed us about what is right and what is wrong. Because they could not win in battle field.
@nilokaachumi9227
@nilokaachumi9227 Жыл бұрын
@@marshalomen1318 when we talk of a civilize society or history it simply means achieving certain means and ends. For a society as Naga where there's lots of things to be covered and understood, generally describing it as a Civilized society prior to prehistoric period may seem derogatory. I think we should look at the facts instead.

Sangtam of kiphire District does not migrated from so called six stone we came across (now) manipur,Kohima,Phek,Zunheboto and finally landed in Kiphire in the early migration period.And the clan name in your coments is absolutly wrong pls dont mislead young generation,Anar and rudithongru came in to existence some where around 700 to 800 years only in Longkhim,Chare area. So better research our history since its very complicated because we have so many heritage village like 1.Thsingar 2.Yingphire 3.Hurong 4.Phelungre 5.Sanphure.etc in your area. The Thsingar migration history has only six clan thise are 1.Jingru 2.Thongru 3.Yingpithongru 4.Langkithongru 5.Ayungru 6.Mongzaru .This is the history of our Thsinga(shu) since 1000,1000 years ago.Pls don't misguide young generation with your own opinion better ask if you dont know.❤❤❤

Those stones are regarded as a place of origin for Ao's it doesn't belong anywhere then where it is.

Iam very skeptical about such stories because there's no proper grounds for their claim. Nonetheless, you did great by showing us those beautiful sights.👍

Would like to know carbon dating of those stones. Would not be surprised if it is more recent. Manipulated stones is what might be. And people coming out of that hole in the stone !!! Must have been tiny people. Let commen sense prevail.
