Love this review. No silly intros, unneeded music, and silly chat at the start, which i have to scroll through. Straight down to business. A bloke talking about bikes who loves bikes and knows his stuff. Enjoyed the part about the shims which i haven't heard of any other review mention. Also, it looks like you are an advanced rider as the lines you take when riding even in the wet are pretty spot on. I've seen so many reviews by 'riders' who work for bike mags on reviews, and their cornering and approach is pretty awful. Very good review, and i have subscribed, which is rare for me

A great video and you're a much braver man than I. You'd have been better off with a boat for much of that ride but good to see that the Guerrilla handled it without any dramas. I've had my Guerrilla for 2 months now and am just south of 2000 miles. I actually did a manual mpg calc today, when I fuelled up, and it was about 85 mpg but I rarely go above 6000 rpm so your estimate sounds about right with the extra revs you were giving it. Also, my mpg readout, on the clock, is quite optimistic too, generally reading around 91 to 95 mpg ....... that would be nice 😁It's a great handling machine and it just loves the A and B road twisties 👍 I've been retired a few years now but this bike makes me feel like a teenager again and I think it's a great looking machine. It's almost as much fun as my XSR 900! Again, thanks for the video. All the best, Phil

As comprehensive as ever, I've seen many videos on this bike but nobody covers it like your good self. At my age and what i use a bike for these days, this type of bike is right up my street and it's quality and price are hard to beat. Less is more, for me and its lack of technology is what i look for and the way it handled all that water was impressive indeed. Great video, as usual Michael.

Another excellent video Michael. The first to second shift issue that you spoke about (at 25 minutes) is already a big topic on the forums, plenty of riders complaining about it. Another excellent video, Mr Mam. Devoid of irrelevant distractions, but with balance and humour, you convey the gestalt of a motorcycle more convincingly and thoroughly than any of your peers, IMO. And you ride a tasty variety of bikes. Looking sideways at this particular RE, with its 'sharp' trail, I was struck by the forks and monoshock almost being at a right angle. Forks steep, monoshock almost horizontal. Doesn't look right somehow. Any thoughts? And btw, did you know that gorillas cannot swim?

This bike addresses some of the Speed 400 weaknesses but has its own quirks too so centre stand great, lower front mudguard, and the chain access is better being on the opposite side to the exhaust like the TFT cluster would love a twin round screen to even up the look. Don't like the clumsy looking mounting of the radiator should be longitudinaly mounted and looks wise a flatter more classic looking seat, the fuel capacity is a bit wee too. How's the gearing? on the speed which I have its too low given the torquey nature of the engine. I think the speed is overall a better looking machine and I appreciate the long service intervals I don't appreciate the lack of centre stand and no mounts for bobbins no bike is perfect and either bike over time could easily be made much better.

Have not ridden the speed 400 so hard for me to comment . Recently rode the 400X and thought that was nicely put together and a good looking bike . Gearing on that was very short but understood the 400 Speed was taller 🤔 Need to try one really … Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment !
