Triple dog owner here. Honest question. Why do cats throw up so much? It’s so rare for dogs to puke, if it happens it’s basically an instant vet trip. Cats seem to puke on the reg.

Inside cats might throw up because of eating some inside plants, maybe food got eaten too fast (lol sometimes one of my boys eats too fast and then gets zoomies) and ofcourse hair. I myself have had moments of something hairy getting caught in my throat and then i get all gahhhh My outside going cats will throw up so much more, but i dont even wanna know what they get into. They're very specific, eat the wrong part of a mouse itll go back out.. those mice and critters will also give them worms, very regularly, which also doesnt help at allll. MOSTLY, it is very noticeable for a cat owner why their cat pukes. Ive had sick cats, dumb cats and just idiots who ate too fast and its pretty obvious when a sudden vet trip, worm pill, some dietary change or nothing has to be done. 😅
