The Man & Dog: Original 1993-1998 Show

I programmed the ORIGINAL Show that cost 3 quarters back into the Man & Dog. This show ran from 1993 to the Spring of 1998. This is not a permanent thing. This was only done for this KZbin video so that you can see what I originally saw back in the 90s. Enjoy!

Reminds me of this: There's a place called Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY with a show called "Rocky and the Ramblin Rascals" (In which is a set of modified Chuck E Cheese animatronics from when it was a Chuck E Cheese) that have some pre and post-song dialogue changed, but the actual songs are the exact same here and they do use the same original format that Man & Dog previously used.

"Have a real Wonderland kind of day!" I went to the Wonderland park in New Jersey as a kid.

I don't know why I just thought of this.... How long has it been since the show's had a proper cylinder check? Do you know if Wonderland, during the show's renovations, did a proper mechanical inspection? I'm only asking because the pneumatic cylinders that run the show only last between 10 and 15 years, so if they've not had any sort of cylinder replacement since their installment in 1993, then there's a good chance that they need one, badly! If that's the case then I have no clue how the show's running well.

Oh don't worry. They've had new cylinders put in. I can tell. I didn't do it. But they've had new ones put In over the years.

Same here because it reminds me of my childhood kind of growing up since we originally lived in the country and a lot of the clothes they wear I kind of grew up with too the whole show is heartwarming to me actually and very entertaining

I think you need to adjust hanks mouth flow controls I’m pretty sure it should be opening better then that and maybe adjust bubbas mouth flow controls to it’s moving kinda slow

He told me that at the time of recording this, the temperature was 32° (cold) so he was worried about air tubes bursting. So he kept the air pressure low, and he probably doesn't need to adjust the movements now, due to possibility of an air tube bursting.

If this is correct then do you think they just had instruments to make them look cooler and then they removed them once they got programmed, or that they had them for some time while they had programming?

@@Toaster003 They may have had the instruments when Al had them, but I asked him about them and he doesn't remember. That may have been a false claim. However, Antonio and Hank may have been the only two with instruments, as Pasqually (later known as Pasta Pete at Zack P's) played an accordion, so I'm guessing when he got retrofitted into Antonio, the accordion stayed along with him. This is purely speculation though.

@@showbizgreensboro8956 You got 3 correct, Bubba was King and Rocky is a bit of a mishmash from my understanding. Recoloured face of Pasquali without the mustash and the ears cut off. Ears more fitting for a Panda were added. He was presumably another animatronic the location had in storage like King was (although it wouldn't have been King) but the mask was dammaged and they had a spare Pasqualli mask that could be used. Chuck E and Munch were retained in their original location being that those are the Chuck E Cheese characters recognisable outside the animatronics stage (the namesake and ticket muncher). Wonderland Pier presumably wanted 5 because the program foundation they just fill in the movement for the animatronics is for 5.
