Agree John Smith and Tagomi were good but Kido was my absolute favorite character. When he put on his round glasses, he absolutely became more fear inducing than Darth Vader.

I’m writing this on September 20th 2020. First found this show by accident a few weeks ago on Amazon Prime and have been bingeing it since. Just finished the finale today. I was thinking while watching the show that it really mirrors our world right now even up to September 2020 and here they are in an interview filmed 10 months ago saying how strange it is that the storylines were back then. Yet today it’s even MORE parallel. Great show. Found the story super engaging (even despite the obvious floors).

I wasn't a huge fan of O'Mara's character at first but once I realized he was the voice of Batman I appreciated the actor.....also his character kind of felt like a rebel Batman from an alternate timeline...who is..also Irish.

Joel Waddell I didn’t care for the BCR, but only because it was introduced in the last season. I would’ve preferred moments presented throughout the initial seasons. What were they doing during seasons 1-3? Where was the Resistance during season 4? It’s like in Return of the Jedi if we saw Han meet up with a new rebel campaign, then we followed that completely new rebel campaign on the Forrest Moon of Endor. I also thought there could’ve been another episode or two.

Very dissapointed with how Smiths story ended. His story should have built up into a redemption arc. His arc was step for step just like Darth Vader but he didnt get a redemption ending Really feel like the ball was dropped there.

But that's what made his character so compelling! The entire SHOW, especially the last season, he is given chance after chance after chance to redeem himself--but doesn't. I feel like as an audience, we're spoiled with the fantasy that bad characters will want a good ending, but watching him reject that every chance made you want to see him given another chance. In the end, that's why he made the show so watchable: his reactions were always unexpected.
