I will say that I loved the lesson the mistress taught the daughter. If someone is bullying you, don't harm yourself but fight back. The mother has been pathetic this entire drama. Her daughter has more emotions that her mother. I also don't think her daughter would be the type of person to put up with a man like her father. I truly hate the wife's character in this drama. I don't like or respect her even a tiny bit. She's been a puppet this entire drama. This man will also cheat again.

Нет не марионеткой.Она была человечней,с особыми способностями притягивать к себе людей.Жену любили все начальники мужа и партнеры по бизнесу и его подчинённые.Она хорошая мать,сестра и друг.Ее нельзя не любить.Муж с ума сходил когда ее рядом не было.Даже в разговоре с любовницей он постоянно ее вспоминал и сравнивал с ней.Жена была для него эталоном женственности.Облаком его счастья.Любовница брала его напором.Сам он ,по сути , большой эгоист,предатель.Он не думал что он может потерять семью.Свои похождения с любовницей он не считал угрозой его браку.Он думал,что ему все позволено,и жена должна молча воспринимать его похождения,что она без него не может существовать..Но жена поступила не так как он ожидал.Для него развод был большой неожиданностью.Это был первый звонок ,когда он стал переосмысливать свое поведение.И лежа почти при смерти ,он окончательно понял,что без своей жены он жить не может.А вот жена оказалась очень решительным человеком.И если бы они окончательно разошлись ,ей хуже не было бы.Но на ее месте сте я бы с ним снова не сошлась.Он очень эгоистичный человек.

I was raised to be submissive by our Chinese mama. We're supposed to be demure and cater to spouses. It's not till I moved to USA that I learnt my spouse could not treat marriage as a battlefield. My American gfs taught me self worth. So these Asian women that put up with abuse never were taught to reject marital abuse. China has more ways to go to eradicate concubine mentality. Starts with education.

I still think it would have been better if the ex husband of the mistress fell in love with the ex wife of the male lead. He is such a nice guy and deserves a good woman. At the end, he still gave the money from the house sale to the ex wife so she can have a good life in the US. The male lead does not deserve to have a happy family after his dalliance with the other woman. I wish the writers made him unhappy and alone in the end. As for the female lead, nothing changed. She is back to being a maid and a nanny. Sad.

If this is the ending, l like it. The family get back together and the mistress understand their mistakes. For me she made the right decision to start her own life. Her husband is still kind, forgiving and showed true love to her despite she cheated and broke his heart. Thanks for giving us a good story that everyone can learn to value their life.

They even take beatings without complaint because they are taught it is their lot in live. They are married off to whom the parents chose as a supposed to be a perfect husband who is going to help them in their old age. They just think of themselves and their future. They do not care about their children's feelings at all. It is all arranged.
