Wow, Malaysia really need to step up their game to support their NGO and social services. There are tons of less fortunate who needs help in Malaysia especially in remote areas.

While giving them aid, you also need to teach them about waste management since they live in areas with not waste collection. Otherwise, before you know it, you'll have and environmental catastrophe on your hands. Just like part of Indonesia. All that plastic packaging and diapers don't biodegrade. I already see piles of garbage ready to disperse in to the surrounding countrysides at 6:37

Instead keep bringing food and supplies, any other way to help them in a more sustainable way? Like helping them to make a living to make more income for themselves?

An empty stomach has to be filled first. Next is fulfilling a person's dignity. Kelvin cannot do everything by himself, but his contribution is a start....maybe Anna Cheng has ideas, and may lead to others to follow up with uplifting some of these poor, the majority seems like old folks. The Ministry of Welfare can pursue such endeavours.
