Meet the man who carried Egúngún Ọmọ́wùmí for 43 years in Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́.
Egúngún Ọmọwùmí belongs to the class of Egúngún Oníjó, Egúngún Ọlọ́rẹ́ and Òrèbé in Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́. It has Egúngún Oníjó's character with its dance; accompaniment of canes for Egúngún Ọlọ́rẹ́; and its kind of costume for Egúngún Òrèbé. Àbáyọ̀mí AkáláIfá is a born-Egúngún devotee who "carried" Egúngún Ọmọwùmí for 43 years-masquer of Egúngún Ọmọwùmí since 1979-in Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́.
