Oh you will love James Randi. He was a great illusionist but his interviews and commentary were amazing. When he passed, I was so sad. For me, it was like losing someone that I really wanted to be friends with but unfortunately never got to meet.

He was a genuine legend! James was an extremely intelligent (slightly impatient understandably) absolute crusader! His life’s work was trying to make people smarter and far less gullible. You will love all of the other docos about him on KZbin :)

I refreshed his google page about 100 times over a few years just wondering when he might pass :/ when he did I was sad but it was a mainly a huge celebration for me of a life well lived. I had to remember he was someone who did everything he ever dreamed of doing and lived his life to his absolute fullest. Just a fantastic human being.

He never debunked anyone. Watched him for years. He was a hoaxer. He set up every trick he knew to make the outcomes always go his way. Uri Geller passed by him on the street. Randi came up to him and said, "I hate you." It's funny because Geller had no ill will against him. Why because Randi knew Uri Geller was the real deal. He despised him for it. Randi was just a well-paid government pawn. He was beaten so many times it's ridiculous. He always refused to give the so called $10,000 dollars in his pocket to them. He could not recreate the so called 'trick' because there was no trick. How many "plants" also got paid by him and his cronies to get caught in a trick he made up?

I've heard of case with his milion dolar award(?), when people didn't whant to invite him just beacose there where too poor and did not have the money to invite him and his team, and there again is the case of doing something in scientific lab and getting the "results" when scientist are watching
