Always defer to a MD or a DPT (doctor of physical therapy) when something like that occurs for a physcial exam. Chiropractors are pseduoscience quacks, there is a reason why hospitals don't hire them

My sympathies to Shawn. I threw out my back in early November and have been slowly recovering. THEN over my winter break I also started building the Back to the Future Delorean Lego Set and like a week after finishing it had to go to the ER because I herniated a disc and now have pretty bad sciatic pain. Maybe that lego set is just cursed.

Can relate to Shawn. I've got a compression fracture in my thoracic spine and I'm doing everything I can to avoid coughing or sneezing. I sneezed once and it was intensely painful plus I heard something pop in my back. Sleeping is difficult but have to tough it out for 6-8 weeks for the bones to heal. MLK week has helped a lot to pass the time. I hope Shawn has a speedy recovery.

Like Shawn, I spent an entire 3 or so months period eating sauce packets, mine were mustard, in jr. High. My mom got reduced price lunches and would hand me a 20, which would last like 5 weeks. I really wanted Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and I ate mustard for 3 months to get that game.

Sorry to hear about your rib! Ouch.. I've had my share of bodily injuries that have left me stuck on the floor! One time I watch watching my mom's cats while she was gone. I sneezed and slipped a disc in my lower back.. I ended up on the floor, where I stayed for eight hours, until my girlfriend showed up because I wasn't answering the phone. And in the 90's, my friends and I, were filming a dumb movie thing... And I ran across our backyard, stepped on a sandy part of the lawn, and dislocated my knee cap (petella bone). I have never felt so much intense pain in my life! I blacked out for a couple of seconds, and when I came to I was yelling in pain. It's sort of like a break, except with the pressure of your knee cap trying to leave your leg behind. Stay safe guys! -MattH

Talking about Derrick, maybe I'm on the minority here because I enjoy listening to Derrick-less podcast. Derrick is witty and smart, but my god his mood swing, his smug face, his mean-spirited banter, his condescending comments are so irritating (his comment about SAG-AFTRA and SNL writer is unnecessary, because of one rotten apple, you said that all apples are bad?). His friends will defend Derrick to their death, because that's what good friends are. But as a product, they aren't immune to good and bad criticisms (and the trolling comments). I agree for the comments that said Derrick should be removed from the intro video. It's like listening a Beatles album with the photos of all the members, but most of the songs doesn't have... one of the member. But personally, I don't care if Derrick still in the intro or not. As long as their podcast is fun to listen, that's good enough for me. If one of their podcast sucks because their circlejerking VGA just because they know Geoff Keighley, I give thumbs down and still watching their future podcast, until I accidentally found a better podcast or have less time for watching youtube.
