If he was born in 1921, then he's going to be 100 years old next year. Just think about that, a person who's 100 years old will still be mentally sharp enough to tinker around in their garage trying to invent new and interesting creations. That's incredible.

Jordan B Peterson would suggest its the opposite, and you see it in this video. This man walks a couple of miles a day. He had a treadmill in his living room where he does a short sprint, and he takes the stairs over the elevator. This is what Jordan tells us, being physically active leads to an active mind. Doing mind puzzles alone never kept anyone alive.
@ziggysaurusrex1581
@ziggysaurusrex1581 3 жыл бұрын
@@alexwild4350 I like Jordan too, but both is important. You need to be physically active as well as keeping your mind engaged. As Jordan says, you need to find a purpose in life. And when you have a purpose, the rest is easy.

This man is a legend. Imagine living that long and being so productive since the young age, until the point you experienced every changes and evolution in technology. It's hard to imagine that in the time when he was born, transalantic phone call was not even invented yet. Now he got a smartphone in his pocket with face to face communication available with anyone all over the world, at any time he want. Not only that, he is actually working with fancy up-to-date tools, machinery, computer, even a 3D printer. So mind-blowing.

It was even more back in the 1800s BEFORE electric was even invented, which means they didn't even have a telegraph, soon as electric came about a whole crapload of inventions no one ever saw before all came out in a very short time- telegraph which became the telephone as it improved, phonographs with ways to record voice and music, cameras to record visuals, motion pictures, electric lights, motors of all kinds, elevators that made skyscrapers possible, electric also made aluminum cheap and easy to make at a time when it was so difficult it was more valuable than platinum! the sewing machine, steam engines, automobiles, typewriters and adding machines! can you imagine how hard it was to design a mechanical adding machine that could add, subtract etc huge numbers? xerox copy machines, computers, cell phones, inkjet printers, all of these inventions are interconnected, most came about in the 1800s in a short span of time and it all goes back to ONE invention- producing electrical power. One has to wonder what other invention like that will come out that sparks another crapload of side inventions the same way!

What a creative and technical mind with a beautiful soul.The kid inside him is still alive and kept him young. There's something particularly wonderful about a guy with so much intelligence and multiple practical fabricating skills with a background in the armed forces- he could have made cars, he could have made weapons, but he chose to apply his genius to something as pure as toys.

Remember the scene in the movie Christmas Story where the teacher takes the kids fake teeth and she has the drawer full of confiscated stuff and there's a set of chattering teeth in there? A lot of people think that movie took place in the 30's, but according to this, it must have been in the late 40's because they didn't exist yet.
