The Man Who Knew Too Much is a documentary by Michael Oswald about Colin Wallace a former Military Intelligence Officer involved in psychological operations in Northern Ireland. Colin Wallace spread fake news, created a witchcraft scare, smeared politicians, and attempted to divide and create conflict amongst communities, organizations, and individuals as part of a Disinformation War in Northern Ireland. He fell out with members of the intelligence community and found himself accused of murder.

There are some serious problems with this documentary. Whilst it gets pretty close to the truth it actually doesn't acknowledge that the British military, police and parliament actually serve the Crown not the people. Everything the British military do has to go through their command structure and the top of that tree, then and now, is Prince Andrew as aide de camp to the crown. There is no doubt with what has been uncovered in the US with Prince Andrew and Epstein begins here Jimmy Savile was also publicly acknowledged as an MI5 asset. He was also involved in the blackmail control of Edward Heath. The police found that he procured children for this. He was also a member of the Duke of York's masonic lodge. He was also best friend of two prime ministers. All happening in the same timescale as this. In other words the documentary actually states its aim of creating a better society. Then why does it avoid the huge amount of connected material. It is almost a gatekeeping exercise on the face of it. Sad but a lot of people will go away from this with a lesser understanding of how their country works. And other countries where the British operate. Yet another missed opportunity.

The picture Wallace paints clearly shows how important the conflict in NI was to developing behavioural science aka psyops to manipulate public opinion and therefore why the British kept the conflict going for 30 years. I researched The Troubles as a part of my Geography studies at the University of Melbourne. I have been saying for some years that Victoria, Australia is Northern Ireland, and I think this is now self evident to everyone. I still live in Victoria, but I can see that it is only a matter of time before things truly get serious, here. My husband knew Julian Knight well but never liked him. Knight was good friends with the Read Brothers (Chopper's stepbrothers) and according to my husband they were all F*kn Nuts! Despite all this, Knight and the Read Brothers mentioned above were accepted into the Australian Army Reserve and were all given firearms. It was at this time that they began boasting, while visiting at the Mission, how they were going to kill a bunch of people, and in the end, Julian Knight did just exactly that. He was able to do that because the Cops ignored the warnings of my husband, whom they knew well and otherwise had a great deal of respect for, (because of his work in rehabbing criminals and gangsters and getting drug addicts clean). What is happening now is the fruiting of a long planted foetid tree of corruption. The same type of corruption and political machinations for destabilization were happening in Northern Ireland, that's exactly what this documentary is about, and if you can't see that, I can't help you.

@@billyandrew Stanly Kuberick's unfinished book was called Napoleon . It makes for an almost better title to give this " operation " . Just as you might operation " paper clip " or operation " radio flash " both operations at about the same period or just before . In which the collaboration was rather more , in fact solely between America and the UK . Remnence of them although fleeting , still exist to this very day .

I'm a sucker for documentaries that reveal historical truths. This one made me wonder if the title should be "The man who lied too much" or "The man who knew how to lie too much". More importantly, I am trying to understand what drives a man to earn a living out of sowing lies. Is it just the money, or is it more of power and GREED FOR POWER?

It's power... Manipulation is power. When you know the truth and deal out lies you gatekeep for those you support and keep unwanteds out. Also you send people on wild goosechases that will diminish their results... Imagine life as a race.
