The psychology they teach in school could easily could have hindered your understanding. Dr. Young was a mystic as much as a scientist and physician. Mysticism is generally frowned upon by nearly everyone. Especially materialist scientific institutions that play a key role in the military industrial academic pharmaceutical complex.

after I had my dark night - at which I’d been weighed and was to be sacrificed through Fire and Water..; the entities found me to have «only really committed two real sins in your lifetime»… I was so shattered and mystified, I dared not ask how many sins others usually have committed. But knowing that I DID live a decent life and after the ten commandments - because I had a moment early on, about 15-16 yrs old… I consumed the full works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Silmarillion and all… and the totally genius Hitchikers guide to the galaxy… I’ve always been sensitive. Just that I’ve never talked about it. Never believed I was different. My heritage did not allow me to have such delusions of grandeur…. It was only Jesus that was allowed the gift of … sublime novelty. That lasted long enough, and my totally reckless egotripp of a life to come - worshipping the green medicine smokable herb… diving further and having done nearly every drug consievable… needles… or «done by nail and hammer», as they say… I have lived a life of crime and deceit. Still I have been as lucky as that I did set a moral, early on… Today I greet my grandfather and a couple other significant others, the honour of giving me empathy and ethics. My gramps, A. Lidal, was a gem. My hero, even today. He told me things like «you know when you sin, boy, you can tell by the feeling you have in here», he said, putting his good ol’hand at my chest. «Your heart» he said, «will always speak the truth and as long as you listen you will be safe. The lord has it this way. Listen to your heart and you will go with god». He also showed how to make a powerful mudras. His way of praying. I… I never treater him badly. Not except one time connected to drug abuse. He did back out and we made up later on. He lived till 2012, 85 years old. My mother - his daughter, battled cancer for ten years. She went into coma 2,5 weeks after burials. One week later, they’d died; all of my family! Mom the last.. I lost 8 ppl , 8 near and dear ones, that year. The same year the maya somehow held as the end. Does anyone know what end to which paradigme? Ok… tying it together: Last year. Or the one before, I had been shown the depth to existence. Loooots of synchronicities aaall the time, and insane acts of pure faith - and they all held safe. All came through. C.G Jung did it before me. And he wrote books and he was so fucking brave - I cannot other than to bow in awe; to the toughness and intellect of mr. Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. He declined siegmund Freud heed to heir of his throne of psychoanalysis. These guys laid the whole groundwork… they painted the landscape and named all the fucking colours and parts coloured. Insanely orderly and intelligent work.. I met my psychologist for a session. After my … psychosis I? Or my mystic, meeting with faith and entities not of mine or this world… I… told the poor guy, that we’ve moved on to next stage. That cg Jung now is the mark of present time, if I can name a direction to look. The psychologist, he shook his head. Carl Jung, he sort of chewed and spat out the name as if it was nasty, something old n rotten. As it is so, that no one can really understand what an addict is on about, and how he thinks himself honest; as he at the same time lies and says he is doing what he is not - to conseal his using drugs… he consult her himself honest! Because telling actual truth is ONLY producing hurt and aggression. Evere addict understand how this plays out. Every. The same way I struggled to understand the mystic. To practice the secret, or to manifest a better life. After experiencing the for es we live around. After doing and seeing it all… Well. I cannot hide no more. I must be the best I can. Always.

Jung went on a journey, his father was a pastor. His faith lost his faith and died believing he had wasted his life. I believe Jung was looking for more, then saying that psychology is the study of the soul not the mind. We live in such materialistic world now, when he went on this journey the way people saw life was I think so much more complex and natural. I think you are right about learning psychology and theology at college because the course can be aimed at a purpose.

Thank you for this reading of my favorite book. In memories, dreams, reflections i found finally found a kindred soul, who knew of secrets that no one else does. Reading it i found more than illumination and kinship, but the most profound opening and exploration of themes and ideas that seemed to have always been present in the dark recesses of my mind, but that i could never properly formulate - or lacked the courage, knowledge or intelligence to. Like Hermes to Thoth - Jung offers not only the goalpost for the wanting seeker - the individuation, but also sheds light on this whole landscape, that it seems so many don't see, or at least, dont want to see. It does sound dramatic, but finding him and understanding really felt like a coming to wholeness, to finding both path and subject towards a proper living, of this mysterious, wonderful existence. And thank you, Eternalised for keeping his spirit and tradition going strong with your wonderful videos. They really are a joy, every time. here's to a good 2025.
@Alexander_Starr3 күн бұрын
@Eternalised this is your best video yet, the one about hell is a close second. I had to turn it off and come back to it later because i couldnt stop crying. It's kind of embarrassing but i had literal tears streaming down my face, starting with the tragic story of that poor girl who was abused and retreated into her inner world to escape the trauma. That absolutely broke me, and those who know me in real life would be absolutely shocked to hear this, as i am usually totally unphased hearing really messed up stuff. But her story just touched my soul, i still have no idea why tbh ive heard way worse and didnt even flinch. But your video awakened emotions deep within me that i dont fully understand right now. I feel so desensitized to life in general, and you ignited something within me that might really really end up helping me a lot once i figure out whats going on within me. You have no idea the good youre doing with this amazing content, and i just wanted to thank you for making me feel something again. And reminding me that i have compassion and empathy for other human beings. I dont know anything about you, but i owe you tremendously for that. Thank you.

Man, 13 mins in and loving this. I too have carried dreams with me my whole life. Jung's dreams are fascinatingly symbolic as well. Not everyone has this experience, I've asked lots of people about their dreams and its amazing how many people have 0 relationship with their dream world. Either they don't remember or don't want to admit they remember, I'm not sure which.
@shadw47014 күн бұрын
Sadly most people don't pay attention to their dreams so over time they lose the ability to remember them. It's possible to reverse this though
@AlanaBananaCanada4 күн бұрын
@shadw4701 yeah that's interesting, though a bit sad. My mom is one of those people I think, unless she just doesn't want to tell me her dreams but she says she doesn't dream.. just blackness. But she is also the least insightful traumatized person I've known so maybe that has something to do with it.
@Alexander_Starr3 күн бұрын
This is so true it's insane. Everyone thinks they're so damn original or unique when they tell me "oh I don't dream." Lmao. How arrogant, to think you're the exception in that regard. Even worse, they don't seem to think that's a serious issue. Why would you pride yourself on not dreaming? Since I was a kid, my dad would tell me about crazy dreams he had, he frequently had lucid dreams, as did I. I frequently had out of body experiences where i would fly right out my window and soar above my neighborhood. That's the most liberated I have ever felt in my life, and I feel very sorry for these pathetic nihilistic losers who brag about being so "hard" that you miss out on a wonderful inward experience packed full of insights and meaning. Of course, these sad, uninteresting people do in fact dream like everyone else on the planet. They just aren't remembering them because they don't care to. I'm so grateful I'm not like them.
@PIERRE-VERVILLE3 күн бұрын
fullly.. dreams have showed me so much. specifically 3 , where ive been shown things shown crystal clear. i was shown love , and the other, thoruhg woman.. then a spirit in the form of an angel (not christian specific) told me that it was all infinity and i broke down crying and so happy wendless joy and flowing love and understanding, and most recently, i was standing in a river, as it flowed, and i was told by what felt my subconscious to my ego that I needed to juist trust the river of life and Self, and i did, life has been so difddrent and love and better ever since.
@AlanaBananaCanada3 күн бұрын
@@Alexander_Starr you're so right! I think maybe people's ego get in the way and they put all their importance on waking life, and just don't see a reason to pay attention to their dream world. Or maybe their dream world is too hurtful that they block it out. For me, I mostly have nightmares but I'm thankful for them and still pay attention, and then analyze them, because when you do - it actually is not as scary as you perceive it to be. It's just your subconscious communicating something to you. It's so beautiful!

Jung was a savior of truth in a time of Freudian weirdness where the thinking about the human psyche and psychology was really only a way to experiment. All the real data and understanding gained by that era of psychology surly didn't go to the people. The advancement we can achieve uncovering the actual human "psychology" is profound. Especially if we use it for the betterment of the individual, the collective consciousness, and societies. It can absolutely change the world for the better and evolve humanity, the tree of life. Spirituality apart from dogma is another branch on that tree. Thanks for sharing this!

People highly underestimate dreaming. I think jung got a lot wrong about dreams but he's correct about their importance. Dreams can help us solve problems, be more creative, be more introspective, feel euphoria and especially lucid dreaming can help by giving us the ability to actually practice other skills while asleep and improve on them. Lucid dreaming will also increase your self awareness and critical thinking

Great stuff; I love your short form summaries of esoteric works, especially of Jung. Interestingly, though niche, some less-than-popular schools of thought continue to be inspired by Jung within psychology, and have subsequently branched off in interpretations of his core insights. I would be especially interested to hear a response/take from the channel on a very stimulating work: Erich Neumann's "The Origins and History of Consciousness". Gist (stop reading here if you don't want my take to spoil yours): despite the author's off-putting/outdated prejudices to modern ears, the universally recurring sense of the "divine" or godhood may be a dim recollection of the transition from prenatal, neonatal, and early childhood development. That is, the sense of unbroken unity and serenity in the womb is subsequently complicated by development of the executive, purpose-driven functions of the ego, with which we consciously identify, as distinct from the intuitive/vague/seemingly-external workings of the less conscious parts of our brains' output. We're distressed by this schism and seek wholeness again; hence Jung's journey towards acknowledging the personal and collective unconscious, alongside the conscious functions of the ego, in order to reconstitute the holistic self.
@drewmackellar97807 сағат бұрын
Oops. Never mind; I subsequently watched your video "the Psychology of Numbers", and ~20 min mark, you definitely acknowledge the Jungian idea that reassembling the ouroboros simplicity prior to psyche fracture is a major subconscious motivation. Still, the concept that this desire may be a psychological corollary of spiritual feeling remains very compelling to my lay reading.
