The man who removed fishing hooks from a wild manta ray | Sunrise

A Perth diver has helped a 3 metre wild manta ray, removing fish hooks lodged near the animals face. The trusting gentle giant allowed Jake Wilton to get close, even rolling over to show him the injuries.

The guy from the other film crew with Jake is Monty Halls, an English marine biologist, who makes documentaries about everything marine related. Hat's off to all of them! You can probably find a lot of Monty's videos on youtube. Did the guys from Sunrise ever take up Jake's offer?
