Mr.Shankar was one of the few people that believed in me when I first started getting into the art industry years ago. When I turned 25, I had a conversation with him on Twitter. I was surprised that he even decided to respond back to a nobody like me. I told him that I was worried about getting into the industry because I felt that it was too late at my age. But he told me not to give up, and that he also delved into the art world even though his University/College studies were in a completely different field from Animation. I showed him my Bioshock Anime Opening that I did at the time, and he told me to keep it up. To this day, I recall back to those words of encouragement he gave me when things got rough. Thanks man, I owe you one. I ended up getting a lot of recognition in my industry and instagram despite starting to draw pretty late in my life. Thanks Adi.

Good interview! I remember first hearing about adi with the bootleg power rangers release and the sourcefed interview. I was pleasantly surprised to see his name on Castlevania when it dropped, seeing as it is one of the handful of good video game adaptations after decades of use and abuse of IP (Paramount's Halo stole a small chunk of what is left of my soul) Pleasantly surprised to see him here of all places as Charlie slowly becomes a Nexus for my niche interests seemingly naturally. Already had laser hawk on the list, but honestly I'm more excited to see what the fuck he's going to do with devil may cry!

This was honestly one of my favorite episodes It was really interesting hearing Adi talk about the steps in creating art and getting to the point where they can create something original organically, weird that it didn't get much traction.

@@anthonypillarella I'm surprised you have to ask. Entertainment makes up a massive part of our psychological diet, especially film and TV. So if you suddenly start noticing an agenda is being pushed via these mediums, infiltrating 95% of all entertainment, to the point you can't escape it and not only that, this agenda being pushed is lowering the quality of the entertainment by about 80%, well... That starts to grate. The creators, the interest groups, they know this and that's why they're doing it after all, to terraform the human mind with their ideology, with their worldview. Eventually the reluctant subject, the viewer, will become allergic to anything even remotely within the worldview pushed by the agenda, in this instance meaning LGBT characters, PoC inserted suspiciously, especially in place of a formerly Caucasian character, and so on. So it's not a matter of giving it your mental energy, it's a matter of it sapping your mental reserves and making hostile your few psychological sanctuaries, meaning you can't get any mental recuperation, meaning you have less mental energy. Made easier, they pollute your means of escapism and suddenly there is no escape.

It's also a little weird to have a story on Racial conflict and revolution when the main villain of the title has been given a peaceful resolution back in... season 2? Especially when your vampires of the ruling class end up being PoCs. It's the same with this new show, where the mighty 'fascist' regime are a mix of Who Blamed Roger Rabbit with the grittiness of The Boys. If you haven't kept up with the trope, I could see the appeal. Instead it's a rehashed story but with Ubisoft characters (and everyone agrees they done Rayman dirty as a mascot who doesn't get games while Rabbids do.)
