The Man with No Name Premium Format Figure is inspired by Eastwood’s role in Sergio Leone’s essential 1966 spaghetti Western film The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. This statue measures 24” tall on a 10.25” diameter circular black base with a gold-etched recreation of Clint Eastwood’s signature as an official seal of approval. Known to some as Blondie, the mysterious gunslinger waits in a moment of dramatic tension based on the movie's climactic final standoff. The grave marked “Unknown” sits beneath his boots along with the rock that Tuco and Angel Eyes were willing to kill for. With a cigar in hand, The Man with No Name stares unflinchingly in the face of conflict, already knowing how the duel will end.

The paint is nowhere near that of the prototype. It looks very poor and flat, without the skin details we saw in the promotional videos. I have it reserved and I don't think I will finally buy it.😢

@Sideshow, don't put in the thumbnail of the video the photo of the prototype. That's called cheating. The figure is very different because of the paint. And as a colleague wrote, on top of that it is missing the belt of the pants. Unacceptable flaws in my opinion for a Premium Format figure.

Not sure how you can claim it is missing the belt of the pants when you can't even see the top of the pants due to the vest. In any case, I just got mine and the figure has both belts.

Hello everyone . Downgrade in paint, no weathering, apparently no regular belt... mmmmh... but what strikes me most is the trace of glue and the quality of the stitching of the belt with a colored and textured holster different (1'12 of the video). Pre-ordered but probably with regrets...

I don't know why anyone was expecting a regular belt, since while it is shown in pictures the 1/6th scale figure, none of the pictures of the Premium figure seem to show it. But in any case, it is not missing. I just got mine and it has both belts.

I've pre-ordered this, can't wait to see it arrival.I have the previous 12" GBU Blondie version figure too. BTW, suggest your team can produce one more "Fistful of Dollars+For A Few Dollars More" version with the steel plate with bullets hole on it + long rifle + pocket watch + shoulder leather bag etc. It make perfection to the "Dollars Trilogy" to our fans collection.😅

I have mine pre-ordered now im starting to second guess this. that face paint looks nothing like the prototype... They could have done much better on the facial hair and face. That looks like a cheap ken doll. No shadowing effect no color in face from being in the sun looks pale and just absolutely nothing like the prototype

Ummm... Sideshow, WHAT HAPPENED with this statue?! It looks like the Wish version of the prototype! I pre-ordered both premium format statues the day they went on sale MONTHS ago, but after seeing this unboxing, i might just cancel both! 😐😓 Is this actually the final product? Its missing the pants belt, and the painting to the face looks cheap compared to the prototype...especally the beard and around the eyes. Whats with the cut backs on the final product?!?!

After I watched it over and over again, I have to say that the paint is really not like I have expect it to be. I have payed this already and poed the Dirty Harry but that paint does not do this guy justice. I think I am canceling...thats not worth almost 800€.

This is a bait-and-switch compared to the prototype. The pictures in the preorder listing are VASTLY superior to the finished product. The paintwork is abysmally bad on the retail figure. This is not even close to being worth $640.

Wow (and not i a good way). I own and love the 1/6 scale The Man With No Name from last year, and he is far superior to this - what's with the anime face? The 1/6 scale head sculpt is far better and just avoids the plastic-snarl look, AND you get to pose the figure! Can't believe you guys spent so long on this - with the man himself on board - and made a hash of the face.

Why are people always expecting the production piece to hold a candle to the prototype? Are you guys new to this? Listen, the skin tone was always going to be flatter. That's every single Sideshow statue from the beginning of time. They could have done a better job on the 5 o'clock shadow, for sure, but otherwise, it looks just as I expected it would. Keep in mind, these typically look better in real life than in the unboxing videos. I can't count the number of PFs people have complained about (Wonder Woman PF, Emma Frost PF, The Crow PF, etc.) when seeing production pieces, only to get them in hand and see that they're more than acceptable--but were often the victims of bad lighting. I can't really tell if they didn't include the regular belt, as it might have been riding higher on this piece and they neglected to adjust it accordingly. I hope that they did, as he should have his gun belt and a regular belt. That's my biggest concern.

Real life faces are always the hardest to replicate, I've looked at the proto photos and watched this and the new video sideshow has put out, and it's very hard to tell for me personally how similar or not they are, but definitely agree lighting can effect what you see in a video, hopefully in person, the face looks good

As a matter of fact I AM fairly new to this. Just started collecting “action figures” and the like a couple of years ago. Have several Hot Toys but really like these Clint Eastwood legacy 1/6 scale figures. Big Eastwood fan so especially enjoy having those in my collection. Been eyeing this statue but now I’m not so sure. Liked the prototype, shocked at how [crappy] it looked in the unboxing video, but now you’re saying it most likely will look better in hand!

@land A general rule of thumb is that Sideshow's portraits based on real people will never measure up to Queen Studios or other high end statue companies. Hot Toys portraits always look fantastic and they will almost always look better than any statue. Both Sideshow and Tweeterhead will always have far worse paint apps than the prototypes. Also, Sideshow's factories can be a bit underhanded, so check all statues carefully (they once sold me a Batman statue where they had glued the gargoyle statue's ear back on--and it was very obvious). Keep in mind that Sideshow US doesn't unbox packages, so if the factory makes a mistake, they will sometimes try to get away with it. Sideshow is mid-tier when it comes to statues, but they have some great artists sculpting. I am very happy with many of their statues, but my favorites are almost always not based on a real person. In my experience, the unboxing videos always make the paint look much flatter and duller than it looks in person. Also, you must keep in mind that in real life, even 1/4 scale heads aren't particularly large--so what seems exaggerated or poor will not be as obvious when you're viewing it at your house. I also tend to dislike mixed media, but Sideshow is dedicated to it, and I make exceptions for statues I particularly enjoy. I can't remember ever hating a statue and when there is a defect, Sideshow always makes good on it. Their customer service is top notch. And they will often send individual parts if the part is commonly broken (such as the crow from their 1/4 scale Crow). If you're on the fence, this probably won't sell out right away (though they have been lowering their edition sizes, so there's a chance). I would recommend seeing people's reviews who have them in hand. Check KZbin or the Statue Forum and then make your decision. I know of several statues that I reconsidered after seeing the unboxing only to be very pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Keep in mind that this might already be waitlisted, which will usually end up filling the order--but you never know.
