I've watched a lot of reactions to this episode, and it's surprising how many people, including me, were expecting the baby to rescue him using the force rather than the clan that we'd only 10 minutes earlier been introduced to. I think that's really smart writing that so many people blanked the big clues! Keep up the good work, hopefully this stays up

“Do you think [Mando] meant not to kill [Greef Karga]?” Definitely debatable. They showed Mando go out of the way to double-tap the Stormies, so not finishing Karga off was a choice. Also, the shot that hit the Beskar Ingot made a higher pitched noise when it hit, and I think Mando would have noticed it.

I also think that he purposefully aimed for the Beskar. Another clue for this is how long it takes for him to take the shot. He could have fired back at Karga much faster but he seems to be taking his time, getting out of danger first and then aiming precisely before firing.

I liked the atmosphere of these early episodes. The show got a lot of praise for all of it and how real everything looked. Then when they revealed the behind-the-scenes and the "Volume" stage, suddenly a bunch of people complained about the CGI and said didn't want to see the Volume.

One Beskar bar was enough for one entire shoulder piece AND some left overs for the foundlings! So yeah thats 1 entire suit and maybe half of another. Depends how much is needed for chest piece.

I think the disintegration rifle only works on organics. You see the robes of the people he shoots fall down. But, it's definitely energy based. You hear it charging up, just like in Jedi Outcast. (And the amount of details and references in this show is absolutely stunning) So I think shields could save you.

Lone Wolf and Cub......Star Wars Version. It does make you appreciate how the Mandalorians adapted their Armor/Weapons/Tactics to fight Jedi and mimic some Force Combat abilities. I think if Star Wars The Old Republic introduced a true Mandalorian class (Trooper and Bounty Hunter don't have the panache), it would be as popular at Jedi/Sith classes. Other thoughts: 1. Mando's Rilfe is a single shot and seems to be like the old Sharp's Rifle, and fires some sort of physical projectile, which should go through energy shields. 2. It will take a lot for Mando to take on some sort of droid based on his experience (droids wiping out family and community). Of course a sarcastic HK47 or 55 unit might show up. 3. This is the Way. I have spoken.

I'm pretty sure he shot Greef Carga (Carl Weathers) in the Beskar on purpose, I don't think he actually wanted to kill him since technically the Mando did break the bounty hunter code and Greef was only doing his job as Guild leader of the bounty hunters.

Awesome reaction! Have also loved your Rebels reactions. I *think* the disintegration gun only disintegrates organic material, hence why the robes and clothing are left over. If so, it wouldn't work on droids, doors, or other not organic things. That's my guess. 🤷‍♂️

About the disintegrator being able to drop shields. Not sure if this could be considered fact, or worthy of analisis, but in those old Jedi Knight/Academy games, a disintegrator shot could bypass any enemy shields altogether. In Jedi Academy I remember than when you shot the force user enemies in certain situations (most of the time they would just force-dodge your shot) you could kill them in one shot

Do you heard of special amunition? You could have metal casing. It release it's content after impact. It is used in heavy weapons in army... So metal slug ignores shield and after hitting release thermal or wathever discharge it has. On the sitenote disintegrator weapons in SW rpg ignore most energy shields. Except very high class.

It would be pretty amazing to see Bo Katan rescue him as a child! I'm sure Katee Sackhoff would've been more than up for it. I think the desintegration rifle wouldn't turn off energy shields btw! It seems that it works against flesh or living matter in some way, hence why sometimes clothes or robes stay there after it's action.

Not gonna lie I do kinda wish they didn’t show mando’s face at all. I wish that when the droid removes his helmet to fix him his face was obstructed by the droid but maybe we got to see a tiny bit of his skin colour and maybe hair.
