@ObiWan Kenobi I know it is jarring especially as someone who grew up with Legends stuff being canon, but in the long run it does make sense. What made Order 66 so effective was the surprise of it all. With the Temple attack Anakin literally walks up the main stairs with his troops before engaging so every Jedi knew they were coming, (excluding ones in class). It leaves enough time for the more peaceful Jedi to escape out some back ways while the troops are busy making their way through the whole building. Anakin also couldn't be everywhere at once so realistically a good number of them should have been able to escape.

I think the Armorer is sort of like a Druid so she has massive clout. Karen Traviss set a lot of the Mandalorian lore with her Republic Commandos books and she took heavy inspiration from the Celtic warriors of Europe. She did this following the lead of Drew Karpyshyn in KOTOR who used elements of Viking and Celtic culture in his rewrites of what the Mandalorians were. George Lucas had them more like ninjas with a peaceful faction but then working in the shadows which is how Filoni initially portrayed them.

@@leonrussell9607 To be fair, Filoni is a Lucas disciple. He made them what George Lucas wanted but then got pushback from fans so he started slowly changing them. I think Favreau's influence is bringing them back to the right depiction as he's been slowly layering a lot of Legends lore back into them. Plus it's entirely clear that Filoni was at least in part inspired by the books when he did Bad Batch even though they are a painfully bad knock off of the Nulls.

But those were Naboo soldiers that were Kelleran's "friends." I may be wrong, but I think the only people that would have had the authority to order Nubian soldiers to help Jedi younglings escape are Palpatine, Padme, and Representative Jar Jar Binks. I honestly love how they're on such a hostile planet going back to ancient times on Mand'alor when the Mandalorians had to fight to earn the land which of course became their new Homeworld. Also just a good way to keep everyone on their toes for anything, should be more aware of their surroundings though like at least build up some defences but maybe this is still all pretty new to them and over time we'll see this Enclave change and evolve. Also pretty surprised with how many fan dislikes how many "creatures" we've seen in this show so far. Mostly Theory's fanbase but I personally don't mind this at all as it fits the Mandalorian culture. Like I said above Mandalorians would 100% settle on a planet with alot of creatures to hunt and prove themselves on not some peaceful planet where they can put their feet up and relax. Do people want them to fight tiny dogs or something lol But idk Theory's fanbase are pretty negative about alot of stuff even if their arguments like any logic.

Or it's terrible writing showcasing how inept and unprepared most of these "Mandalorians" are. Fighting and hunting giant beasts is literally the single thing a Mandalorian should be able to do, and these guys apparently don't even have a single ship to themselves (Off-worlders Bo and Din needing to save them with theirs), constantly beset by creatures they're entirely unprepared for, multiple times, on a planet they refuse to adapt to, on a beach they were just attacked on and were apparently all going to perish on if one of the two Mandalorians with ships didn't arrive to save them. If anything this show is proving to me how incredibly far Mandalorians have fallen in every single conceivable respect.

It's very poetic that they brought back the actor for jar jar, who appeals very well to kids, as a Jedi who would protect a kid. I enjoy the theories that jar jar himself was responsible for the naboo ship. On a sadder note, when the naboo guards want to know where the others are, I first thought they meant knights but now I think they ment younglings.

I have something on my mind for a while now. Is there something mystical about forging Beskar ? There is the speech from the armorer in last episode that suggests so. It triggers flashbacks for Din and Grogu, that we get to see. Does it do the same for Bo ? Does the forging of her shoulder plate provoke some introspection ? Is that why she reveals the mythosaur thing to the armorer ? I feel like there is something else to beskar than its rarity or its strength. What do you think ?

I started thinking, after this episode and Screen Crush's "The Empire was Right" episode, that maybe instead of Jedi, the new republic tries to convince Mandalorians to be the peacekeepers of the galaxy. It would play into their current want to stay nomadic and I think would be faster than trying to get the Jedi back up and running, especially after Luke's failed attempt at an academy. Just an interesting thought.

In many forms of meditation, you stare into a flame of light to help block sight helping to increase other senses. This facilitates a deep dive into your mind, or as some believe, allow your mind to travel to other places or planes. Since the forging of metal involves a repetitive visual and auditory process this could facilitate a meditative state.

I took the campfire scene and Bo eating along as she’s contemplating that until then, leadership of Mandalorians required the Dark Saber. Remember in episode 1 she said once she failed to get the Dark Saber from Gideon, all her followers left her. Now, being honored as the hunt leader, she’s been shown (or reminded) that maybe it’s not as important as she thought. I feel like this is part of an arc for her to unify the Mandalorians again.

This episode brought me to absolute happy tears for Ahmed Best. Officially my favorite by far. Good story/char development, the fact that Din Djarin wasn't the absolute center and giving more light to other Mando's. The action was beyond par, how the father Mando used the sticks in the nest for cover had me rolling on the floor laughing. How the flying creature smacked against the water and "theirs always a bigger fish" had me cheering. I feel Bo Katan did right and spoke out about seeing the Mythasaur to someone, anyone. This episode was absolute FIRE!

I would 100% call it a cult and I don't think Bo's intentions are truly noble. I think she is, for the most part, a good person now, but she still has a very strong desire to rule Mandalore. That's why she didn't tell Din, the owner of the Darksaber, about the Mythosaur. She asked the armorer about it to try to get a read on how powerful that would be for her. I believe she truly cares for Din and Grogu and hope she isn't so overcome with need for "the throne" that she turns on them. Also, I still do not trust the armorer for a second lol

It was blink and you'll miss it but the Armorer called that creature a Shriek Hawk, known as a Jai'galaar in Mando'a, which is where the term "Jaig Eyes" comes from. So, my hope is that, somewhere down the line, we get Mandalorians riding those baby ones (after they've grown up, of course) and have Jaig Eyes on their helmets Also, Ahmed is DEFINITELY redeemed in everyone's eyes by now (not that he deserved any of the hate he got in the first place though)

I feel like there's an important question in this sequence: why Grogu? Why are the Temple Jedi actively protecting Grogu and relaying him to other Jedi, rather than rounding up any and all still-alive younglings, like Gungi? It feels like handing Grogu off to Kelleran Beq and Beq immediately departing is a sign that Grogu represented something vastly more important than just rescuing younglings in general (which would still be very important).

Hmm... I think when the show started, most viewers liked the group (the covert). They are Mando's family, after all. They saved him as a child. They came to his aid on Nevarro. But the moment we met Bo-Katan, and she called the group a cult, people started seeing them in a negative way. And this was reinforced by the fact they rejected him just because he took off his helmet, and that Paz tried to fight him for the Dark Saber. But now, through Bo-Katan's point of view, we're seeing that perhaps she (and also we, as viewers) just judged them a little too harshly. They're not that bad. Even Paz who was first to (kind of) bully Din back in season 1, but then seem to lead in aiding him, then fight him, then agree with him (with the "one only speaks when one knows), then be grateful for the help rescuing his son... I get the sense of him following the Creed first and foremost, before any resentment (or whatever it is) he might have against 'outsiders' or newcomers, etc. 35:10 Btw... Certain scenes reminded me of How to Train your Dragon / Jurassic Park (or World) / GOT/HotD... and I loved it all. 😅 Looking forward to more HTTYD with those three baby raptors. 😆

Since the Naboo ship that Kelleran Beq took was not Padme's, the logical conclusion is that the ship was Jar Jar's. CARL WEATHERS?! this was a perfect episode even tho it basically didnt progress the story at all apart from Bo-Katan being further welcomed into the creed. the only thing i would have like to seen is after the kid gets rescued and they're back on the beach, he rushes to go hug is dad and starts sobbing, and he says "thank you" in between sobs, and his dad quickly responds " dont thank me, and he nods his head towards Bo and the kid sees and the kid runs over and gives her the same embrace and the camera slowly focuses on her helmet as she looks down towards him. if this epp was just about Bo being welcomed, that would have been a welcome scene.

This episode kinda made the mandalorians look stupid. They are not adequately protecting their younglings against predators if this has happened multiple times. Also, if they keep chasing the predator with their jet packs and they run out of fuel everytime, then why haven't they thought of a better way to chase the thing. You can't be serious if you are telling me that no one but no katan thought of actually using the ship. If they don't have a ship, then how did they get here. And their incompetence is intensified if time passes the way John favreau describes it. Because the way Bo seems much more willing to accept the creed makes it look like some time has passed. So if the mandalorians have been getting attacked by beasts and endangering their foundlings for years, then they are not doing a good job at all. Ahmed best cameo was great though.
