The set was in production BEFORE the Mando came out. This set was also advertised and came out before the show. It would be a spoiler. Makes sense tbh.

It is a nice looking set with GREAT minifigs to be sure, but I feel LEGO missed an opportunity to innovate with the design of their AT-ST builds. It’s nearly the same design as the 2016 Rogue One AT-ST with the same limitations as that one i.e. only one dedicated seat in the cockpit and inability to realistically put the walker’s legs into a walking pose I’ll probably pass on this one on day 1 but maybe get it later on down the line 🤷🏻‍♂️

The aliens are klatooinians (klah-too-inn-ee-ann). They first appeared in ep6 and were also in the prequels. Kithaba from the 2012 skiff set is the same species.

Sadly every set from this wave is a remake of something. Except the speeder set with Rey in it, I guess... Wish they would have made the Mandalorian's ship first... I guess we'll see more sets from there in January, though!

I can’t help but feel they should’ve absolutely elongated the face and added a second seat. They finally fixed the falcons gaps and mandibles after the original design, recycled at least how many times since 2004. Now I think we have next set that will never be updated within the next 15 years.

@@soullessdecepticon677 after doing more research, it's a known issue. The four way barrel piece that's the center of the whole thing is the wrong pieceb in some sets. There is a very similar piece and it was mispackaged. If you contact Lego, they are aware of the issue and will issue you a replacement piece without issue.
