This piece is beautifully crafted. However i do want to say that making piano solo versions for orchestreal pieces is not unusual for classical composers. There are famous solo versions of Rachmaninoffs piano concertos, Rhapsody in Blue and many more made by the same composers of the orchestreal version. Normally when a piece is written, the author can't just listen to the piece before he gets an orchestrea to play for him, which means the wide range of the piano is as close to the orchestreal version as you can get.

My favorite part is 1:39 suddenly it gets a little bit “quieter” and the emotion dramatically changes. The crescendo at the end of the bit is very powerful too. It feels like the hero is saying “but I’m brave and I can stand strong!” I’m not a musician but I always get fascinated by how piano could offer such wide range of sound. Fantastic playing! Bravo! 👏🏻

I just finished learning this (though I'll still have to practice until I can play all parts well enough for the song to flow) and I'm 100% positive I will never be able to play it as well as Patrik. He doesn't make one single mistake, not even a little slip on the keys, in over 5 minutes! Maybe he's not human. But anyways you were right, I had to watch this a lot. Press pause, stare at the screen and learn the next couple notes, press play and then pause again immediately, repeat. Worth it for this amazing cover!!

@@norafortune9390 oh, you'll learn that fairly quickly you'll see. The parts at 1:30 and 2:00-2:15 though, are hard as fuck, especially 1:30. I don't know how he can play those 4 note octaves so fast without misspressing. I can't even do it slower and playing right hand only.

When I saw that this was five minutes I was like, thats about 2 minutes longer then the original but then listening to it felt like it was really short. Could listen to your music for hours. Not sure if this is your style of music you play on piano but I would like to hear you play Giorno’s theme ( Il vento d’oro). It’s from the anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and it’s gotten pretty popular. I’m not trying to force you so if you don’t want to play it then please don’t.

@@cabe17 key to learning any song regardless of difficulty is 1 hand at a time. Assuming you can find the actual notes on paper, play the measure you think is the most difficult. Play it until you master it and repeat the process. When you feel confident in playing measures with both hands, then try playing it from the beginning. Don't get discouraged by time especially since every player is different.

@@cabe17 it really didn't take too long but I had to keep working at it even if I felt it was hopeless I just kept going. I can know play the whole thing so its not impossible. its REALLY cool to play so I do recommend trying it out. it took maybe (not including the break I took) 2 months. but yes I really enjoyed it. it was a fun little challenge
