@ItsAPrimate My theory is that there are still Mandalorians who joined the Empire during the Galactic Civil War and are possibly still around today, possibly working for Moff Gideon. They were known as the Imperial Supercommandos who were led by the traitor Gar Saxon who ruled Mandalore and served the Empire.

That was Zeb! It was confirmed in the credits voiced by Steve Blum, same as Rebels. He was a lighter shade of purple in rebels and didn't have quite as long of a beard. He looks great in live action imo, much better than I thought he'd look.

An episode that conveys such magical emotions... Wow. This so strong and so deep feeling of human warmth through the purest fraternity that is for a group of people linked with a same will of living on beyond anything... How magnificent. *PS : About the episode and the story moving forward... The pirates clearly were a tool (similar to how Palpatine used the Trade Federation back then) at the service of Gideon in order to have the Mandalorians come out of hiding, and the whole beskar thing in the end is an obvious misdirection (comes back full circle with S01E01 and the remnants of the Empire stealing+trafficking Mandalorian beskar), this soon-to-be First Order strongly willing to get rid of this united force that could be the people of Mandalore, while using the New Republic at their advantage (divide & conquer, typical Dark Side maneuver)... But hopefully, all the people of Mandalore is soon gonna be 100% united !

Man, seeing Zeb in live action was AWESOME! This is the 2nd time we've seen a member of the Ghost crew in live action. Chopper makes a cameo in Rogue One. During which time you will hear over an intercom calling for Captain (Hera) Syndulla. The Ghost ship itself was both seen in Rogue One and The Rise of Skywalker during the battle of Exegol. With that said, it's likely (speculating here) setting up that we're going to see members of the Ghost crew in the Ahsoka TV show that comes out later this year.

Leaked footage has already appeared to show Hera and Sabine is known to be cast. Zeb was a big speculative question mark because he was unseen in footage and people thought his design might not translate to live action. So, him just casually strolling up to the bar here was huge.

I was in the era born kind of near the 5h season of clone wars, if I’m correct and since I was to young to begin from season 1 I just never watched clone wars, but this was also around the time when I was like 8ish and watched rebels fully and seeing Zeb in live action really makes me happy

The original concept art for Chewbacca was Zeb but green. Maybe that somehow got in Primate’s head, or maybe the purple just didn’t stand out so clearly in the Rebels color palette.

The “Beskar Alloy” I think was actually the material for the Dark Troopers, rather than the pure Beskar that the Mandalorians use

I think it was planted. Cause think about it, if something made of beskar got stuck in the wall, when the owner attempted to pull it out, that wall would've broken before the beskar did. So the only way I see for a broken shard of beskar to be stuck in a normal metal wall would be if someone had planted it there

that episode was 🔥 I went crazy when I saw ZEB IN LIVE ACTION then see quick and clean from the Mando's also like that Carl Weathers character he plays gives land to the Mando for there new Home. also that pirate ship going down that sound was same they used for Vader Executor going down in episode 6 when it crashes into the deathstar 2. also that last scene IS VERY IMPORTANT I HAVE GOOD IDEA WHO GOT GIDEON OUT we saw his Tactics used in episode 4 of this season

I suspect that it's just a simple frame job with imperials trying to make it look like Mandalorians are responsible for Gideon's escape. They do have beskar in their possession from the purge, as evidenced by them using it as payment for the bounty on Grogu in season 1.

I absolutely love the little references to Rebels and thus the upcoming Ahsoka show that they've thrown us ever since it was announced. In Ahsoka's episode in season 2 when she first asks about Thrawn, there's a Loth Cat running around (I know it's not specifically called that when it's not on Lothal), we got the Purgil in the premiere of this season and now we just got Zeb in live action. Not to mention the countless theories going around that Thrawn could already be related to the mysterious Empire stuff going on, which I'm kinda starting to back. Personally, I figured that he must have some access to beskar since the Magistrate Ahsoka fought had that spear. So I find it possible (and a very Thrawn thing to do) to plant that fragment in the ship to mislead anyone who found it. Because how else could a shard of beskar have been broken off and lodged in the wall? The wall would've broken before the shard did when the object that it broke from was pulled from the wall.

One thing I wondered, with all those Madalore's sitting in that cave, do none of them have ships of their own? Among all those Mando's, the only way off planet is either Mando's ship or Bo Katan's ship?? I would have loved to see a few more Mando's in some of their own ships to go fight the pirates. I have two guesses. 1. This is unlikely, but maybe Sabine and Ashoka took Moff Gideon (to set up the story for the Ashoka series.) Moff Gideon is connected to Thrawn and we do know Ashoka is going after Thrawn. But it seems odd that beskar would be left behind by mistake. 2. Someone broke out Moff Gideon and framed the Mandalorians. A united Mandalore and them retaking the planet would be Moff Gideon's worst nightmare. The Empire took them out because they were a powerful group that could oppose them. Former imperial remnants would definitely not enjoy the return of the Mandalorians rise to power especially since they are figuring out how to deal with the New Republic. Someone is probably trying to get the New Republic to blame the Mandalorians and wipe them out for them.

Some theories I have regarding some of your comments hahaha • I agree with you about G1 plot... If it ended there in ep1, that's just random! I believe he will again be a mcguffin, in order to the Mando's explore and retake Mandalore • I believe the armourer just authorized Bo to take off the helmet and "join their people" ONLY and just only because she saw the mithosaur. That means (for the armourer) that Bo is the next great Mandalore leader, and that overcomes any minor rule or religion that may get in the way of a bigger plan. • Bo saw (and probably will tame) the mithossaur. Din has the Darksaber (and I can't see him loosing it anytime soon). At some point, Bo and Din will have to -or "marry" and rule together- or fighting for the command. (Bo, the armourer and the rest of the mandalorians won't accept Din just giving of the saber and his right to rule). • I still think that the armourer is the second commander (the girl with purple hair and green eyes) of the old Darth Maul's deathwatch, the ones with red armour and horns in the helmet. She still uses red leather and have little horns on the helmet. And that group also had some extreme beliefs... she may not be that girl, but it would fit if she is..... What do you think about this, primate? I want to hear your thoughts in these hahaha

It’s true R5 is the same droid from New Hope. Fun fact he didn’t have a bad motivator, he intentionally blew it after R2 pleaded with him and told him about the mission he was on to deliver the message. So if it wasn’t for R5, Obi Wan wouldn’t have gotten the message from Leia. Respect to an unsung hero

Much better than last episode. I don’t get why this major city on Navarro only has like 30 people…can’t they use their cgi budget to replicate extras so that it looks like more people are in danger?
