Stayed there in December 2023. It’s a special place. You do get the sense that the staff there are proud to be there. The service is kind, warm, polite, attentive, but never intrusive. We had a beautiful experience.

What a beautiful hotel! We stayed just down the road at Shangri-La but next time, we would like to check out either this hotel or The Peninsula. This video might have pushed us more toward Mandarin Oriental..

Beautiful hotel. Stayed there last year. Dinner by the river was magical. Regarding the service, it is very good but in my opinion Waldorf Astoria Bangkok is even better....

Wurde viele Jahre lang zum besten Hotel der Welt gewählt - bis die Araber ihre Luxuspaläste gebaut haben. Kenne selber nur die Hotelbar und eines der Restaurants auf der anderen Seite des Flusses - das hat schon was, Tradition und Geschichte pur! Hotelzimmer sind kaum unter 1'000 $ pro Nacht zu bekommen, daher ausserhalb meines Budgets....
