I use the shampoo and conditioner( dark purple and black bottle only) and the Growth Oil this oil is good if you have dry itchy sore scalp and I had a bald spot also helped with that... I also use the hair gel that's in the dark purple and black container but only for a twist outs is not really good for hold I also incorporate black Jamaican castor oil to seal it in

I see commentators saying this product is beneficial but too expensive. 1)The creator of this product is a Black American businesswoman. Since black folks are always saying "support Black businesses", perhaps her targeted demographic could decrease their purchases of white designer bags & shoes and "help a sister out". 2)Black folks shop at Wholefoods to get natural items all the time. Their prices aren't cheap. Well neither is hers. As a matter of fact, her prices are equivalent to two or three trips to Starbucks. (You know Starbucks; that other white business.) Lattes or healthy hair? Sometimes it comes down to what you think is important. 😏

underablackgaze I don’t shop at Whole Foods; I don’t buy Starbucks and her stuff is higher priced than some of the other things that I’ve purchased then and now, from the beauty supply store. Plus, ain’t nobody thinking about Sally’s, she expensive too!
@BL3SSed-Bliss5 жыл бұрын
Turquoise Purple Sky Your last two comments are woefully ignorant. Also... I know literally ZERO black persons who shop WF for hair products. Folks barely shop WF for groceries. Stop projecting your personal experience in judgment of others.
@BL3SSed-Bliss5 жыл бұрын
You make a great point, one I’ve made for quite some time. Further, it takes a strong consumer base to allow for lower prices; so an increase in sales would beget a decrease in cost, therefore price. Rather, it SHOULD if she is truly a decent businesswoman. I learned that TRUE QUALITY is absolutely WORTH price. Especially if you limit yourself to only those quality products that work for you! I wanted soooooo badly for this to work well for me. I was willing to pay. That said, I learned that her products have ingredients I neither need nor want, and read reviews about stiffness/crunch/hardness. I am a girl all about soft feels, and my hair softness is something everyone comments on. I don’t wish to change that for anything. (Well, not the softness. Lol, with the one exception of my man, I prefer people keep their paws 🐾 off of my tresses. 🚫💆🏽♀️ 👩🏽🦱) So for women like me, it’s not worth the price to risk damage or drawbacks. 🤓🧠💜
@BlanketChops4 жыл бұрын
underablackgaze yeah I agree I don’t care how much her products go for I will always buy it because it’s quality some people are stupid and think she’s suppose to give a handout because she’s black... but with me I know she Black so I’ll give her my money more then I would with someone that’s not

I’ve used her 4c hair collection: the light green kind and it made my hair dry; not to mention, i had to call to get a couple of items that weren’t sent to me that I knew that I had paid for. Also, the caps on the bottles weren’t secured and liquid was over everything so I hope they’ve rectified that for future purchases. I’m not berating her and her company but if you’re going to have a company catering to black women, then please double check your QC (quality control) before it’s shipped out because I don’t mind supporting black people, especially when every T and I is crossed and dotted.

Just gave this line a second chance AND .... wow wow wow! I am a hair product junkie and I read every ingredient on each product. I bought a ton of products the other day. Some things I ever heard of but I trust she will not steer me wrong. AT ALL! The Ancient Egyptian line is UHHHHMAZING. The peach black tea is UHHHHHHmazing. And it’s only been day 1. Crazy right? But I’m hopeful AF! The mousse made my hair alittle stiff after my straighten look. However, in curly hair form, it was soft, strong, smells amazing, frizz free and defined. I will use this on my daughter’s curly hair as well. The serum on my ends is amazing as well. Shame on Mielle for stealing her ideas. And I loved her but....damn. She even copied her storyline to the tea!! When I heard her say she is a registered nurse I said “OOOUUUUUUUU! Isn’t Monique a registered nurse too?” SHADY AF! I like two of her products but everything else Is going in the trash. I LOVE MANE CHOICE! I’m a fan for life now. Can I be an ambassador? I’ll follow you on IG as well. Same name on there as well. ChelseaManifesto 🥴❤️🥴❤️🥴❤️🥴

Today’s eye opener, becoming bald, the graying of hair, is life, it’s the coverup that’s show business, not journalism. As the current ‘upfronts’ are in full bloom, here are just a few things that are a certainty…No women will be appearing with gray hair, no matter their age in a drama or comedy, or even if known to be of a certain age in real life, even fewer gray headed men for the same marketing reasoning. Any Afro-American females in a cast or appearing on a talk show panel, will be straight haired or wigged, oh, there will be a few Afro-Centric hair styles scattered about, those will be the exception and very few in number. Most of the female hair colors will be lightly shaded, if not outright blond. The most regrettable of the ‘upfronts’ predictions is what it confirms and means to the facial image of women, their make-up will become more trashy than ever before, very much like the image of current female news contributors, trashy blonds with pouting greasy lushes red lips, the cheapness of the appearance of women will be displayed in full bloom or returned with a big bang wherever it was once absent, without any seemingly objections from women, as they seem to be enjoying the fakery in dress up make-up, and yes, the ‘plain Jane’ is all but dead in broadcast media, too long did she reign…
