i’m 24 just ended a 7 year thing with someone i loved so much she’s the one who got me into jazz and now i’m obsessed every time i hear jazz i can’t help but think of her i just hope her life’s good and she’s happy even though i still think about her with every breath i love her so much but it’s time to move on and yeah jazz saves me every time

"Modern Jazz" was a term that started being used in the 60's. I didn't know what it was supposed to be and I still don't, today. I do know that I love all jazz that moves me and that I can dance to. This is what I love, in any form.

How lucky you are to have lived in and experienced NY, the warm, positive, good side that is. I have been STUCK in BFE KY all my life, and I have become very disillusioned and dissatisfied. I hope to escape soon. But this music and this comment section gives me hope and some happiness.

Listening from Tulsa, OK USA. There is just something so soothing about a soft saxophone, a soft female voice with a sound similar to the 'Girl From Ipanema', piano, flute, and soft samba bass sounds wafting into the evening...Ahhhh-hhh.Thank you for your music🎶🎷

Went to a few Jazz schools/ regular music schools for 10 years between Berklee, Boys Harbor E. Harlem, New School NYC, and Julliard to become a computer science teacher in Japan lol, love this though it brings back memories when I was studying Big Band Arranging and playing back in the US in small clubs for peanuts.

@@rawkingpronto Practice a lot and audition. When I was there in the 90's they would have a list of songs for you to play and try to find out what it is through someone who went through the process. I am not sure how they grade now, but when I was there I got all 7s on my score, for sight reading, performance, soloing, and the last one I forgot. The is the best adive I can give you for now. I work in a small windowless office. The work isn’t fun, but Jazz like this makes my days soothing and… good. A day listening to smooth jazz is a good day is my point. It has a tonic effect on me, and I love it.

Why can’t we all have the fine things in life ? I hear you say , no worries brothers and sisters we are sharing this brief fine moment in life and like any slight or major enjoyment we experience just make the most of it!!!! Even if in long term you feel not so fortunate you are here and just enjoy for this moment as short as it may be. compared to having a Ferrari or Porsche we all get bored of riches as much as we want them or some have them so just let that thought pass like a cloud and enjoy Thanks for reading this far I am suprised ❤️👌😊

Man i love jazz. Nothings better than a hot warm coco, on a saturday night. Sitting by a fireplace at your very comfort of a home, all by yourself. Not type of distraction. Cozy in your pajamas while playing this at a minimum volume. On a Fall weather, its so peacful

I am sitting alone, at night, in a lounge, at a 4-star hotel near an airport that caters to business travelers listening to this. Going to slowly drink two or three Manhattans, then go up to my room, order a room-service club sandwich, and watch Skyfall or BBC News.
