Thats the one I got😁😁 and i passed!! Its easy but tricky. I had to do it on a busy road and I had to make sure not to reverse until there’s absolutely no cars around!!!

It's the one I'm hoping for as the actual skill level is the lowest of all the manoeuvres. But even though it's not hard to do right, it's easy to get wrong. As Phoebe well articulated, you have to look not only where you're going, but in the complete opposite direction at the same time.

I got this in my test. Passed with two minors and one of them was for reversing on this. I was checking around so much while doing it and still got a minor. So double double double check as you do it!

I found the reverse parallel parking manoeuvre to be the easiest. So I was happy to have it on my test. Which I passed today, 1st time. 🥳 Your videos and course were very helpful, I watched them all yesterday in preparation!

@@sui9452 nope, and if there are a lot of traffic, you won't even cover 2 car lengths cause you have to stop each time a car is coming. He will just ask you to stop and move on. Just make sure you do your checks all around and go as slow as you can, and stop when there is on coming traffic on your side of the road, or pedestrians nearing your car. I did however almost failed when I saw a give way sign very late in a busy junction I have never been before. Saw the examiner's foot about to press the brakes, but I manage to stop on time and passed.

I had a parallel park, I did it perfectly too, but can't complain as my route in Dudley was a joke it was that easy, except for Gornal high street which is always a nightmare as there's no room for 2 cars with all the parked cars.

I got that manoeuvre on my test and still managed to get 2 minors, one for control as I rolled forward a couple of inches at the start then when pulling off after I signalled right not left. I was glad no other cars about otherwise that would have turned into a serious fault but I did pass.

I got the reverse bay park on my test and passed first time. Couple mins earlier before the test i was messing this up on lesson due to nerves.

I had to do the parallel park, at least it wasn't reverse bay, although there was a narrow road, lorry infront, cars behind and nearly mounted the curb but it's all good.

Reverse bay was my favourite but had a parallel park, at least you can see the back of the car with the reverse bay, but its hard to be sure where the back is with the parallel.

Hardest for me lol, I never know whether I’m in the bay or not because you can’t see through the mirrors unless you open the door to check if ur inside the lines, it’s like a hit or miss

As a learner myself in my experience I much prefer driving lessons with my instructor. A driving instructor is trained and experienced in giving good and clear instruction while remaining calm. There’s also less pressure since they have dual controls. I reckon most learners with a good instructor would prefer the lessons with them over family/friends. When I go out with my partner 9 times out of 10 we end up arguing😂

Hello I’m turning 16 next year and I heard that I can take driving lessons at that age and if i pass i get a real license is it true?

May I ask why/when you would park on the right (opposite) side of the road in a real life scenario? I'm from Australia & that wouldn't be allowed here. In saying that if I were to drive internationally the UK would be the place Iwould drive because I wouldn't have to drivd on the wrong side of the road.

It's definitely the most controversial one, many examiners don't do it because you're not actually supposed to park facing incoming traffic. But some do 🤷🏻‍♀️

Typically you see this in residential areas, I’m guessing it’s to do with there being no parking spaces available on the left.
