Miley will forever have my sympathy for going through puberty and the transition into adulthood in the public eye. She got so much hate for the smallest things - taking a picture with her friends where they were both licking a lollipop, wearing shorts, standing next to a pole on an ice cream cart (all of a sudden it's "pole dancing"), not wearing a seatbelt once, taking pictures of herself in a freaking bikini. To this day, it baffles me the way some people really hated this girl for essentially being normal.

It's just like all the plaques and papers people have on their walls, if you have enough money to pay, you get all the certificates and diplomas and awards. Don't compare yourself to others. It's in the poem 'Desiderata'. I just want to know what the personality disorder is that causes so many beautiful people to permanently alter themselves for attention or money. I can't help but to think they are literally being skinned alive and acting like it's nothing. It's got to be painful af, and not something to be normalized like it is. I'm just gonna enjoy aging as nature intended, I appreciate the differences in the way I look and the changes, it's all very interesting to observe. Maybe bc it's easier to sexualise and ultimately to sell her as a product if she looks older? We shouldn’t judge people who are in the public eye for doing this but at the same time, transparency is ESSENTIAL. People have to like looking at your mug if you’re in entertainment. Until the culture and public become less superficial, people who strive for careers in entertainment or public eye will do these things just to increase their chances at doing what they wanna do for a living/art. 💜

I did notice her eyes looking different as she aged but never thought twice about whether it was plastic surgery or not. I guess I simply didn't know those things could be achieved before. I used to think plastic surgery always looked really obvious and loud, never considered it could be done subtly until I started watching your videos. Now I see you point it out its so obvious
@mocagami2 жыл бұрын
I never realized that's why she started to look so different to me. I grew up watching Hannah Montana, so I was a little afraid I would start to look more and more like that (that all my cute round parts would start to disappear and look sharper) as I aged with my baby face too, so this kind of blew my mind. I honestly didn't know those changes were (probably) from face surgery... Thank you for explaining!

Lorry I’m so glad to see you back and in good spirit, Doja Cats reaction to your video was deranged and incredibly upsetting. I know that you know this already but the work that you do is incredibly important for young girls. I was a huge fan of doja cat and seeing her behavior towards you was beyond apalling. People like her will have us believing that hooded eyelids can suddenly become lifted almond eyes and hanging collumellas will magically turn into button noses with *puberty*. This rhetoric is extremely harmful to young girls and our beauty standards as a society. All these girls keep claiming being natural while looking like carbon copies of each other with the exact same procedures done for the exact same look, and this becomes a problem as they keep trying to make it seem like these features they have which many times are completely unattainable, are naturally occurring. I actually laughed out loud when Ariana said let me have my cute birth nose in peace as if she hasn’t had at least 2-3 nose jobs.

I am super disappointed that she sent so much hate your way, when you are always so respectful in your videos and always say that everything is speculation. On the note of Miley Cyrus, I did notice her teeth changing when growing up. It’s actually really funny, because one of the teen magazines I read growing up would do something similar to you and compare celebrities and why they potentially looked different. And one of them was Miley possibly having invisiline braces. Other than that, I did more recently noticed that she looked older but I couldn’t put my finger on why. Thank you for all that you do, I myself think I have body dysmorphia, will be checking in with my therapist to confirm if that’s the case, but regardless, this information really helps with my self esteem. Both her parents are great looking. Miley was so adorable and other than a little modification to her nose and maybe the endoscopic brow lift, she's gone overboard with getting work done. I guess the world makes women insecure about their looks. I think a lot of women who have hooded upper lids want to open up their eyes. But she took it to the opposite extreme. Miley really didn't need to change. Glad she's lightened up on procedures. It's certainly possible to take things too far. That was cool to hear how she got her name. Never knew that. Great video as always Lorry.

Maybe less than 9 months apart, I think. He’s the older of the two.

Lorry, thank you so much for always providing us with your compassion and work. I consider myself extremely open-minded, and coming across your channel has really been eye-opening for me. I did not know how to think about plastic surgery besides being aware that it can be detrimental to your health and assuming celebrities do it often. I had no idea just how many procedures celebrities would do and what types of work they would undergo, so your videos really helped me understand that and it helped me to start analyzing things in this way as well. I enjoy the positive idea that plastic surgery can be good and help enhance your natural looks. I also feel less crazy knowing that almost every popular celebrity has had at least minor work done. Most of all, I appreciate your respectful analysis and I think that’s what keeps me coming back as a viewer each time. You are open, honest, and kind in your overall presentation. But no natural breast, even the most beautiful ones, are that round and firm, even for the youngest. Implants, however, are round and firm, even the smallest ones. I think the reason behind any celebrity not sharing their procedures, is because they are just as insecure and dysmorphic as anyone else, in some cases even more due to the unstoppable scrutiny, criticism and negative comments their way. Even celebrities are trying to “fit in”, they just are more rich than others, so they can afford all these procedures. We just have to stop criticizing others as a society so much, regardless of their status. We are all people, we are all vulnerable, we all have some trauma. Life isn’t easy even for the rich folks. We have to have empathy and love, that’s all that matters in the end of the day. And my comment is not towards Lorry or her viewers of course!! It’s towards anyone online writing nasty comments to people or criticizing their every breath. Thank you for another great video, Lorry! So glad you’re back! ❤️

I really enjoy analysis of public figures that started very young because sometimes it’s hard to know what changes were originally perceived as just puberty and/or losing a lot of weight, or even make up! Before I thought that she had a rhinoplasty and lip fillers but this analysis made me realize that there was so much more to take into consideration ❣️ you always surprise me!! 🤩 I’m really thankful for these videos … and the comment section about how people have been defending you due to recent events , and there is so much appreciation for what you do; it’s just amazing!! 🥰 I hope that you really know that is so much more than just a video , you really help to shape our mindset towards Beauty and our own self-esteem… so thank you so much🤗

I noticed all of these changes but my mind didn't shout plastic surgery. I just kinda accepted it. Like "oh her eyelids are so wide but it looks nice." I never noticed just how hooded versus how naturally wide they look now. As someone with hooded eyes like her before pics, I'm so jealous lol

It’s great seeing your videos because with someone like miley Cyrus the change in her appearance was shockingly dramatic but it’s hard to understand specifically what she’s done, you just know she’s done something. The breakdowns are great.

I grew up watching her, and she's only a couple months older than i am. I'm not a celebrity, but seeing all the work she's gotten done makes me painfully aware of my own aging 😢
