That is the best idea I heard in a long time. Silly me. Who knew. Thanks so much Greg, Sincerely, William

Hello, I plan to heat only 1/2 of my garage. Will plastic sheeting be a good choice for heat retention? What do you recommend? Thank you for your time and videos.

Great stuff! I need plastic in the making of DVD sleeves that go into a binder. I've been wondering where I can get plastic sheets that don't stretch. 6 mil seems a bit thick. But at least I have a better idea.

Thank you Blake! Can I use the 3 mil as curtain for my patio? How long will it last?
@GreggDistributorsLP2 жыл бұрын
Hello Angel, the poly sheeting shown in our video is used to form a barrier to keep moisture away from the insulation found in walls. We also carry construction grade poly but this is used as a temporary barrier for protection against spills and weather. We would not recommend this product to be used as a curtain.

i'm looking for a way to hang plastic sheeting in a doorway so I can walk through. I saw it done once 40 years ago. It was hung in a X, perhaps? I know the trick with the screw to roll it back in lieu of masking tape. Your thoughts? Ideas?

If anything, perhaps you should consider a peel and stick zipper (part number TMC 06184) which can be found on our online catalogue on page I91. www.greggdistributors.ca/catalogue.php. Hope that helps.

Dear Greg: Concerning HDpoly rolls 3 mil thick - - How can we cut 200 slits measuring 2 inch's long x 3/8th inches wide. I need rows of them cut on the plastic sheeting. Any Ideas? Thanks, William

This may sound overly simplistic, but how about using scissors: greggdistributors.ca/Tools-Shop-Equipment-and-Storage/Hand-Tools/Cutting-Tools/Scissors?resp_group=Default,Variations,ItemProperties Or perhaps give this tool a try as it may be easier to use than scissors: greggdistributors.ca/Tools-Shop-Equipment-and-Storage/Hand-Tools/Cutting-Tools/Utility-Knives/aaa45c Hope that helps, good luck with your project.

What one would you recommend best for a green house roof ?
@GreggDistributorsLP3 жыл бұрын
@@Kev506 You would certainly want to go with the thickest option available, which would be the 3mil version. You can check it out here: greggdistributors.ca/Paint-and-Paint-Supplies/Surface-Protection-and-Barriers/Poly-Sheeting/iii05c61011

@@GreggDistributorsLP ok the vapour barrier would be over kill ?
@GreggDistributorsLP3 жыл бұрын
@@Kev506 The one suggested above is intended as a vapour barrier. The reason we are suggesting the heavy 3mil option is due to the exposure to the elements. A light duty VB will be destroyed quite easily in a windy day.

Can I use 4ml for greenhouse??
@GreggDistributorsLP3 жыл бұрын
For single-season use applications, a 4 mil film would work fine. However, when you're in a greenhouse that needs to withstand multiple seasons, you're likely going to want a heavier plastic option, like 6 mil film. Thanks for watching!

Maybe you shouldn't use Tesla B-Roll to describe H-poly gas tanks since... you know....Tesla's don't have gas tanks....
