Ryan, and everyone that helped during this night full of tornadoes. My daughter was smack dab in the middle of the tornado that destroyed parts of Covington, TN. I watched a stream he did a couple years back in March, before he had the whole squad of people he has now and it was just him, his computers, and his camera. I’m so glad he’s got a team of meteorologists and other tech people working with him to keep on top of it all now, because that was an insane night, with warnings dropping faster than he could even name. He’s a legend.
@junkiexl86 Жыл бұрын
A Warning doesn't = actual tornado on the ground. Just means rotation is indicated. Historically, most "warnings" dont go on to produce anything, but that's not an excuse to not take it seriously. Treat every warning as an actual tornado. I know we do. We lost everything in the Moore F5 in '99 only to move to to a different neighborhood and take another direct hit by the Moore EF5 in 2013, 14 years later...I cant stress to people enough how serious these things can be and the "It wont happen to me" mindset can get you killed. I applaud people Like Ryan, Andy and all the people that got involved to give everyone a heads up in realtime as these storms came through. This part of the country is deadly this time a year and people get complacent. I know we did.
@daisyp1670 Жыл бұрын
@@junkiexl86 i have always wanted to meet someone like you. What made you stay/go back to Moore after something like that? 😮 And you’re absolutely right. it could be an itty bitty rope or just some twisty sky wind, but it could also be a Moore or a Joplin or an El Reno or any of the ones we saw on March 31st. In order to live, we gotta treat every warning like the latter.

Was praying I didn't see my town on the list, saw the Little Rock tornado, and all the rest. As soon as the watch was extended to my locale, I went to a friend's house to stay in his basement for shelter. Then, suddenly, about 9:00pm CST, Ryan had focused on my region. The last thing you want watching these streams is to see your town and hear Ryan say the name, but it's the first thing you need. Thank you, Ryan, for warning me and my friend's family as a tornado passed right through our town. Praying for all those who've lost so much today.

Our local radio had no information. Our local television stations were very late to break in. I was informed for 30-60 minutes before the storm arrive thanks to you. I can't thank you enough for your work. I live on the south side of town, the tornado was half a mile from my house. I know people who lost their homes and were trapped in them. Three people in our community lost their lives to that storm last night. It's an unforgettable night and I honestly can't thank you, Brad, and the rest of you involved. Ryan, thank you for dedicating so much time following storms and keeping us in the loop. As a weather nerd, I appreciate the science behind your streams, but as a father, I appreciate the live breakdowns of weather. Last night we were able to check in on my sister in law as the tornado rolled through Sullivan, IN. Shortly after I saught better shelter for my wife and son as we prepared for the tornado to roll through Franklin, IN. Thanks to your coverage, it was an easy and informed decision. The tornado ended up passing 3 miles north of our house, but we could see the clouds and hear the wind that came with the tornado. Lots of trees down in our town... but thankfully, there was no damage at our house as I was following your stream early in the day and was able to put away loose objects on our property. Keep doing what you're doing, it makes a difference.

I watched until the stream ended, but now central Kentucky is under a tornado watch from 1:21am to 3:00am. We need Ryan! Yes, I know he was live for twelve hours! But we rarely have tornadoes in our area. Thank you Ryan and team for everything!!

Thank you and your team for the people you educated and the lives you saved. I watched about 9 hours, absolutely riveting. I'm newly located to a state in this region and learned so much today. What a tragic event for so many, but it could have been much worse. Thank you to you and Andy and your teams.❤ ❤❤

Ryan you did a wonderful job covering this. Who knows how many lives were saved that heeded your warnings. God bless you and the other men on your team!

Watched a few hours of your broadcast. I am sure that you saved lives with your warnings. YOU ARE A HERO. I love how you tell people that sitting on the couch won't save them and put on a helmet if they have one.. They need to hear that. You can't sugar coat it. Just how many tornadoes were there in the US yesterday?

I know y'all have to be exhausted after yesterday! Thank you so much for your hardwork and dedication--I was able to tell me friend in Murfreesboro to make early preparations so when that 2am warning went out, she was ready, and able to stay safe!

Lots of damage in Morris chapel Adamsville bethel springs and selmer. Looks like 9 lost their lives. Thankyou for keeping me apprised as I have no television and you and weather radio kept us informed. The one in Adamsville was less than a mile from my home. Thank you again!

I live just east of Sullivan Indiana. It is considered part of our community. We know so many people from there, people who lost homes! Just devastating! I was at work at one of the local hospitals (Linton) and Sullivan county was coordinating with us incase there was an influx of patients. I made the call to get all of our patients in the hallways away from windows and got them extra blankets/pillows to cover up with. It was scary but we had to keep our cool for the patients. I kept Ryan's stream up on my phone the entire time! Thank you Ryan and team!

Your quick and constant reporting helped save my husband from being in Little Rock when the tornado touched down. He was headed east on the 40 in Morrilton and was about to head into Conway when I told him to pull over at a gas station and wait because of the storm tracker. I was able to guide him with Yah's instructions and your maps... and he left when there was a short break in the storms. He headed south from Little Rock and was able to stay in front of the next round of storms and reach his FOB station/group safely in Leland, MS. He is with Grindstone Ministries now for relief work. They were the ones who told me to follow you. It was all Yahweh guiding you, guiding me, guiding him!! Hallelujah! Please keep doing what you're doing. The best reporting on the internet!!!
