@Morgan Adriel Lately I have been using FlixZone. Just google for it :)

Hi Philip. The Flixzone spammers are back. Time to report them into the Nirwana where they belong.

Does your sync start at the KP3 (as master)? If so, how do you get it to start everything else? I get mine in the mode but haven't worked out how to get it to send out the program message to start the other machines in the chain.

Hi midininja. The KP3 is only sending clock to the Microbrute. The Volcas Receive Clock from the PCR500 and the R3 is sunning on its own internal clock, all set to the same tempo, of course. Not much is going on in terms of sequencing: the R3 is using the internal Arp in Latch mode, the MicroBrute, Keys and Bass are being played manually. Only the FM has its sequencer clocked by the PCR-500, but I start it manually (you can see it in the video at about 00:16). I gave up on having only one master clock for all the gear after I saw a video from Alba Ecstasy. He has most of his setup on their internal clocks, and the sequences and arps are a lot more musically pleasant and organic than if they are all slave to a master clock. I hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Cheers!

@@Philipplus Cool. Yep, I think if I played more I'd probably get into running more things ad-hoc. Do you get the KP3 to start the MicroBrute though? The reason I ask is because I like some of the LFO effects on the KP3, but can only run them in sync for short periods and I don't have LFO on my synth (Rhythm Wolf). I could run its audio through my Electribe EA-1 and sequence some LFO patterns and gating, I just like the accessibility of the KP3. Thanks for your answers, and smashing song too, BTW.

@@midininja3790 I'm not using the MicroBrute's sequencer, but both the Sequncer timming and the LFO responds well to MIDI. Since the Sequencer play is a physical switch, I don't think it will respond to the MIDI start message. I think you can have the KP3 slave to the clock of the Rythm Wolf, though. Have ou tried to send the midi out of the RW to the midi in of the KP3? Maybe you also need to set the KP3's clock to Auto or external (Shift+4 menu). Cheers

@@Philipplus Apparently the issue with the KP3 is that its effects lose sync after a short time (even with its own sampled loops it would seem), but one suggestion is to run it as master. I understand there are ways to set it up as a MIDI controller including program changes, I just haven't delved that far in yet. Thanks for your suggestions though, and looking forward to future jams from you :)

@@midininja3790 I'm looking forward to see the solution you manage to implement. All the best!
