I'm pretty sure the new subspecies is going to be Coral Pukei. They hinted that the new monster would be weak to Ice. Which is why we have Barioth and Legi event right now

I'm quite excited for another long term event that I will be able to engage with! And hoping that I am able to successfully hunt some subspecies for parts. Really struggled with Black Diablos and Azure Rathalos in the past, but hope I've levelled up enough to take them 🤘 Cheers for the update lad!

I’ve used the monthly gem pass to double plate drops and I might try it again at some point for wyvern gems. But after having most of my elemental sets prepped I don’t see the need for it much anymore.

I just got up to 8 star monsters and before that I literally barely got yellow materials. The moment I get 8 star the first 3 monsters - 2 of them gave me yellows 😂

I put down the game after the ZIn hunt a thons were added. It was too physically difficult to do events only on certain days at certain times, and trying to do hunt-a-thons solo meant needing to bank up potions or spend cash. I just didnt have the dps to take them down without playing real risky. Have they made any notable changes since the Winter update?

Winter CERTAINLY made playing more rough. They have since made events longer, which really helps. Like for example, the new Qualily quests coming out today are 20 days long! Instead of the original 5pm on Friday to 3pm on Sunday lol. There's been a lot of bug fixes and playing with the new weapons has been awesome, but you can just dive through my last few videos if you want to see if you are intrigued by anything.

Barioth manageable. Zinogre, infuriating. Currently preemptively crapping my pants at the prospect of Tigrex and Rajang filling up my phone screen with their roid rage.

They made me prioritize maxing fire and ice decos. Barioth gets train wrecked with a quickly broken face to claws as a followup. Zinogre though is pretty tanky given how huntathons work. Gotta work towards taking down a 7 star Zinogre next.
