a similar scenario of this was played on mythbusters. they showed how u can blow up 1 barrel of alcohol without disturbing the rest of the barrels, and it basically lights the entire ship on fire but the fire is so short-lived and shows little longterm damage to the ship because of how fast the alcohol evaporates. i think they even referenced to how this might have happened in the case of marie celeste in the episode

Tha name of the ship was 'MARY Celeste'. The 'Marie Celeste' was the name of a fictional ship in a novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, inspired by the story of the Mary Celeste..

It was revealed the "blood" on the sword was rust and the meals with hot coffee an embellishment that become attached to so many such things. The lifeboat fom the back of the ship is gone but this mystery will probably never be solved

Aces FN I'm pretty sure it was solved. There was a mm alcohol leak that caused an explosion and the crew ditched the boat. When they reenacted this explosion it showed that the explosion left everything as tho nothing ever happened

@Kara There was no evidence of an explosion or any kind of peculiar damage but that is the popular theory. They all abandoned ship in the small lifeboat thinking it might explode. They kept the line attached so they could return to the ship but the line broke, leaving all hands drifting on the ocean never to be seen again.

IMO, this incident shouldn't be catagorize as a ghost ship, although many do think so. I mean, there's no any haunting experience, just an mysterious abandoned ship. If anything, its more of a mysterious ship.

Actually, the tests on the sword and ship came back negative for blood samples. How pitiful that this video still claims those things knowing full well it wasn;t true. There was also no meal laid out.

It was infact extremely oordinary to find ships abandoned and normaly the cargo cleared out. In this case everything was left intact meaning they didn't just get up and abandon ship or if in fact one of the 'dangers of the seas' befell them, the life boats would be missing, the ship more or less in ruin, flodded and most likely a body found. It is coustom and dutie to tie down the weel to keep the ship steady when ever leaving. Next time please get facts before dismissing a story.
