Saw em again on the weekend, the ninth time over the past twenty years. They played FireAid at Adelaide Uni, with Bad//Dreems, West Thebarton, Children Collide and Pond. Same rickenbackers, similar set list (Although mostly Ill At Ease tracks), only thing different was the drummer, with Eli still powering away. 19 years on from this performance and they hadn’t dropped a note. Hadn’t lost any brutality. Absolutely brain meltingly good. Thousands of young kids who’d probably never heard them before lost their fucking shit in the mosh pit. Boys and girls were crowd surfing, head banging, getting right into it. And yet again, Point Man blew every fucking face off. Best band Adelaide have ever produced, by a mile.

i was there and can confirm the mosh actually went off, fireaid was a great event - every band was tight as fuck

I was there, lost my shit with my friends in the mosh. fell in love with the band especially their track LMA. Fireaid was one of the most euphoric days I've had in years!

We'll see you at the Adelaide Music Hall November 25th 2023 😊 They're playing "Ill At Ease" in full and can't wait! They're music is timeless and been smashing their albums the past few days. Super tweaked my feel good receptors to a new level and the fuck you attitude has kicked the menopausal mood swings in the flaps. I honestly think they're even better now. They've been so much a part of my life and am glad they've invaded again.

Still playing live from time to time. If you get the chance to see them live you'll be blown away. Massive sound for a 3 piece. Possibly the best band I've seen live over the past 30 years.

TMOC played at one of the Portland , Victoria Metal-fest's 1994-1995 at the civic town hall to round 500-600 people along with bands like Fireballs ,Bodyjar , Beanflipper , Alchemist , Damaged .. they were so friggin so loud and tuff it was mind blowing back then as a young 19 yr old kid they blew to crowd away great memories .. they gained a fan for ever in me and plenty of my friends and others in Portland .. always followed TMOC ever since and why im here :) all the best to the Brothers thanku for the TMOC !

The good old Civic Hall in Porto!!! I grew up in Portland and gigs like the one you mentioned inspired me to play drums. Some really good musicians came out of that town over the years. There was little to do other than surf, fish, jam, work and go to gigs mostly hrs away, but the odd decent band made that awesome hall a moshing mad house. These guys were definitely one of them. The Living End blew my mind there just before they started to get the attention they deserved. Did you know ACDC once played the Civic hall in their early years? The first band to sell out such a large venue for such a tiny seaside town, almost halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Thank you for posting this. I contacted Sky Channel (Aust.) to try and get a copy of this and they were totally obtuse. Didn't know what I was talking about... I saw TMOC every Friday night for more than a year at the Century Hotel in Adelaide, watching the Scott brothers go from real crappy to bloody awesome. Cheers, fellas! Where is Campbell Cowhide these days?

Any chance the camera can stay still for more than 1 second during a song? The editors think the show is more about them than the artists.
