The Market Collection | Core Fabrics

For our first ever in-house collection, we chose to have these fun fruits and veggies printed on an organic cotton and linen blend. It's lightweight with a soft, slightly rustic airy weave and a medium drape. It's the perfect breezy summer fabric that's easy to sew and works for a wide range of garments, as you can see in our samples!

The good news is that because of the high percentage of organic cotton in the mix, it won't wrinkle as much as pure linen while still having the breathability you can expect from flax fibers. If you’re new to sewing, this fabric is a fantastic choice for light woven projects. We recommend prewashing and tumble drying it before sewing (because cotton shrinks a bit!) and staystitching necklines and curves after cutting it to prevent it from stretching out while sewing.
