Mid 74 to mid 75 i did my full training in Bloem as a Parabat, last 3 months on the border. I'm a VERY proud SA all my life, but our country is fuck-up!!! The good thing is that the turning point is not far from now. Our children will start building it up again. We MUST never forget that GOD is in control.

Om die lied opgedra aan ons ou SAW, te luister en terselfdertyd sien wat hul vi ons land gedoen het, was so gepas. hul was/ is nog die beste van die bestes, tenspyte hul ouderdom. Ek hoor ook 'n ander baie bekende SA sanger se stem deurkom op hierdie lied, jy mag maar meer daarvan sing. 🙏 Almal fokus tans op ons huidige stand rakende die onveiligh en misdaad, en met reg en rede - maar vergeet te danke aan hierdie jong mans en seuns dat ons +-1960 - 1990 'n relatiewe rustige en stabiliteit kon beleef ten spyte al die aanslae op ons land van buite ons grense en binnelands! Al verskil mense met my daaroor, weet ek wat die waarheid was.
