I think this is a top 3 Martin guitar to own and cherish mine. Finally got one last year, they make them better than ever and I love that it now has a simple dovetail as opposed to a mortise and tenon of the older models. I also love that the newer ones upgraded the Morado to rosewood.

@@MaurysMusic oh man, do I ever! It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, but the balance of highs and lows on it are perfect. The action on it is ideal, as well. I’ve played a few Martin’s with the strings raised, but I’m more of a lead than rhythm guy.

Man, he made this sing like it should sound! So what are the differences between these and the D-15M models? Thanks!
@autry3310 жыл бұрын
No difference what so ever. Just in the size. The D standing for dreadnought.
@propheticrain-maker14868 жыл бұрын
The shape of the body. The 000 sounds better for finger picking (try both, you'll see) the D-15 is a dreadnought so it's a big strummer. Though, IMO it doesn't hold that much weight as a strummer over the 000.

@tomformanek33122 жыл бұрын
@@peterdeboer8924 Which is from Africa. It also specs out virtually identical to SA mahogany. I have a new Guild D20. Monster also made from solid sipo. The fingerboard is frequently morado, a sustainable wood that is harder than rosewood but not quite as hard as ebony. It has great grain. Not for prissy traditionalists, but you can hear the great tone here. The world is changing and it is opening up new possibilities.
