I’ve had ML Sequels since 1988 and the first thing people asked when they saw the speakers was “what’s that part on top of the speaker (pointing at the subwoofer)?” They were always amazed when I say that’s the speaker. Then there was one girl who said that it was like praying to the speaker god because it was like a couple monoliths. 🤣

I'm considering selling my Warfdale Elysian 4 spkrs and purchasing Martin Logan Expression ESL 13A. Good or bad idea? Also, some forums have said that these spkrs should NOT be pushed out from the front wall. Can anyone comment?

How would the McIntosh MA-9500 integrated sound with these speakers differently which you also sell. I own the 13A and am looking for a powerful integrated BUT it must have a great built in phono stage S/N MM and MC and so far the MA-9500 meets those needs at least on paper; thoughts?

@@MrHeSeYefor this gigantic size the sound is so so. Many bookshelves beats the pants off these speakers and are far more modern home friendly. ProAc, Dynaudio, ATC, Genelec..

@@morespinach9832 I see the gigantic size argument. I would also agree they're matched or beaten by other floor standing speakers. Not sure about bookshelf speakers though. ML speakers have always impressed me from a projection and detail perspective. Although I'm not sure if it's some phasing trick that's fooling my ears.
