They grew up in the "sticks" in Southern Arkansas, but Joyce does sometimes exaggerate her natural twang!

Love love love this song thank you both for making it possible to hear it here! I’ve heard Mark Lowry and Michael English tell the story about how the Martins came to be part of the Gaither video series. It goes something like they told the Martins to show up at the recording studio and then cornered Gloria Gaither and said you have to listen to these kids. They stepped into a bathroom and the Martins sang for Gloria Gaither. Gloria then told Bill there are some kids here you need to hear. At some point during the taping, he called the Martins in and said sing for us . Can you imagine how intimidating that must’ve been? They sang a cappella. Praise God from whom all blessings flow is part of the phrase. I don’t remember the name of the song I think it’s called the doxology? Anyway, they did an amazing job and everybody in the studio were very supportive of them and as they say rest is history. They’ve been part of the Gaither videos ever since.

The Martins are from Arkansas. Jonathan has a very thick accent when you talk to him. Also, did you know that Judy, the brunette with glasses, is Jake Hess's daughter in law?

I really like this trio…my favorite is “The Promise”. Might have to sponsor that one. ❤ Thanks, dear fella.

Love when the Martins sing this song. Thanks for the reaction. Can you react to Logan Smith’s version of “Thank You Lord for Your Blessings”. I know you’ve heard Vestal Goodman sing and when he was younger he loved to listen to her music and after she passed away Bill Gaither brought Logan to one of the camp meetings to sing one of her favorite songs. I think you’ll be surprised with who his singing resembles. I’d love to see your reaction to it. Anyways, God Bless and keep up the great gospel reactions.
