I'm crying as I write this. I'm a 69 year old combat disabled Marine having been disabled 50 years ago. As I get older it gets harder. Recently I found your song, The Promise, that you performed with he Gathers. When I'm having a bad day and things seem impossible, I play it, over and over. I cry the whole time. Then, I have the understanding and strength to go on. My faith is unshakable but when one sits alone, in pain, full of regrets, this song, and specifically your performance, gives me the renewed strength I need. I lost my job today. I broadcast a gospel program called God's Word every Thursday for one hour. Yesterday I told the radio station manager I will not be playing paid for adds during my program. I am dedicating it to God. Today the station manager told me I had to because he is the station manager. I said no and that he would have to sack me. He did. The radio is on air for 168 hours per week and I asked for just one hour for God. Is this just another form of persecution of Christians? Every week I discussed a topic between Genesis to John and the book of Revelation, every week. I refuse to commercialise my program, God's words. God bless

Hi! You were awful young for that to happen. I hope you have fully recovered. I had a hemorrhagic stroke 12 years ago. When I hear this song, I can't help but remember ALL of times He has been with me. The stroke history is another example of proof. The doctors advised that my family be called in since the doctors did not know if the bleeding would stop on its own. Surgery could not be done. It was too deep in my brain.
