Erm, how did you get the DIY map, the Bayview one, at 4:14? For me, in Mash Box, it's just a tunnel and runs at maybe 2 fps? Tried it out in Streets, that's fine.

I noticed performance tends to be worse on Mash Box for some people on specific maps, I had another that barely worked too (not sure if it is common with everyone or just some weird bug)

Iv put hundreds of hours into pipe and street since release days and always been able to air super high, iv played about with mash box a few times and can not for the life of me air out without pulling back off the quarter to flat

what do you use to record mashbox? my geforce cant see it. also can you put it in fullscreen?

I use that new NVIDIA app now (used the old one previously too), never had any problems with recording though...if you alt+enter you should get full screen

So the physics and updates in Mashbox will come to bmx streets eventually?, if I heard it correctly he has this project open for us to test what he's working on, or is Mashbox being used to develop another whole BMX game essentially making BMX Streets dead?, correct me if I'm wrong

Yes, this is for testing the physics which will be put into the big Streets update (which will become the console release too). Compared to before he is very open to feedback and is making daily changes so it’s a pretty good time to get involved!

i downloaded a few maps but cant play them in mash box! do you per chance know what the issue could be there?

If you wait on the main menu or map screen for a little bit after startup they should show up after 30 secs to a minute! Going into the game seems to stop the map loading process though.

If you restart the game, go to the map tab, and wait a little while it should show up!

i downloaded mashbox but it seems to run in perpetual slow motion, is this a hardware issue ? if so am i just fucked cause i cant find any settings lol.

Y/Triangle is the slow mo button if i am not mistaken, look if your controller is pressing that button maybe it is pushed in slightly, do you use any mapping software? this could cause the issue as well

Mash Box seems to run poorly on some machines compared to Streets, is it a low spec machine?

@TekuFlat i mean its not a high spec machine but it shouldnt be anywhere near low. i booted it up again today and it isnt running in exclusively slow mo but the frames are tanking pretty consistently. like i ran halo infinite at max settings on this thing so im at a loss. surely this is not beating out AAA levels of computation.

This is basically where Mash is fixing/testing out new physics for a big update for Streets, when that's done it will be released on consoles too (the current version of Streets is ok but has a lot of issues trick/physics wise)

The game feels pretty fluid and responsive, but it’s lacking a lot . Nothing compares to the early access pipe bmx which is sad
