It appears the last post to this video was 2 months ago but here goes anyway. This is Friday August 4 2023. I love everything about the Massca jig and the jig to hold the jig. I would love to know when we might be able to order The Massca pocket hole Jig mounting system. Sure hope you get back to me with this.
@boardathome1232 Жыл бұрын
The mounting system is being manufactured by Massca, but they have had to deal with significant delays. However, they are in transit from the manufacturing facility. I will send out a newsletter when they are available again.

Do you have those holes in metric , please 🇬🇧
@boardathome12322 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew. Which holes are you referring to in particular? As I work to expand to shipping outside the USA, I’ve been considering labeling the depth set holes in metric units. The jig itself is labeled in both. Also, the bench dog holes are already 20mm set to match holes on tables with 20mm holes on 96mm centers. I’d be happy to see what I can do to accommodate your needs. Thanks for watching! Stay safe and have a great day!
@boardathome12322 жыл бұрын
I have now started offering metric labeled holes that correspond to the labels on the jig!

That's Brilliant! Following your link on ETSY to purchase the plans I was not able to find them, could you help me? I would more than happy to buy it ready made but since I'm based in Italy I think the plans could better fit to me. Thanks again, even for your commitment on the suicide prevention, I closely know what does it mean for a whole family and it's great to see people who cares.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Unfortunately due to my arrangement with Massca on this product, I do not offer plans to make it. Thank you so much for your interest!

@@boardathome1232 Unable to buy a plan. This is unfortunate - I purchased the M2 Pro system Dec 22. Cost $207 plus Delivery to Australia a whopping $163 It is a great jig The depth measure on the side is a great idea. The measurement dial is difficult to read because the markings do not contrast - I filled the markings with white ink - also sent a photo to Massca who said they would pass it to design team but I see nothing has changed. Thanks for the idea, I will have to design my own board. Cheers.

Really nice! I can't say that I am in favor of using the back end of the drill for depth setting adjustment (what if I sharpen my drill bits? Well frankly I do.) but I like everything else that I see.
@boardathome1232 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve never managed to keep my bit from breaking the tip off before sharpening it. 😂 I’m impressed that you get that much life out of yours. Truth told, I like to set my bit up about 1/16” - 1/8” anyway. It avoids accidentally blasting a screw through the opposite face of the wood. But, I see your point. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate the input!

This is absolutely amazing!! Mine arrived last week. What bolts did you use to secure it through the bench dogs? Where can I get those ?
@boardathome12322 жыл бұрын
I’m SO glad you like it! I used 20mm bolts that I purchased at a local supply store. If you would like, I can get some for you and send them to you. Just shoot me a message on the www.creativetoolco.com website (or call the phone number on that site to discuss options 🙂).

I got the pocket hole jig mounting system but there's ONE MORE PIECE that comes with my MASSCA Pro M2 system. A plate for making the jig portable. Where does that go? Looks like there's room above the wrench holders. I guess I can stick a thin magnet there to hold that plate.
@boardathome123210 ай бұрын
If you look on the bottom of the board there is a recessed area that holds the plate. I hope that helps! Enjoy the mounting system!
@leewhitmore53509 ай бұрын
@@boardathome1232 It does help. Thanks! I'm so glad the plate has a home. I don't remember if that was mentioned anywhere.

I think it would be much better if the locking handle was in the front so you can reach it when doing large panels.
@1steelcobra Жыл бұрын
You'd need to go around anyways no matter where you set it to drill.
@rogerlove7588 Жыл бұрын
I agree that the locking handle would be better in the front. Having used my Massca jig for several years, I’ve found myself considering a Kreg jig for that very reason. I just wish there wasn’t so much plastic on the Kreg.
@MrLeram122 жыл бұрын
The support rods come off when storing. Needs some modification.
@boardathome12322 жыл бұрын
Just put a drop of thread lock on the set screws when you assemble the Massca jig. The rods will stay put. Also, be sure the support block screws are secure before storing. 👍😎👍
