tbh if Ryan did with gamestop what he did with chewy, I think a lot of people would shift to it. Chewy stands out from online pet food companies by being personal with their customers. They give out the vibe that they genuinely care for them, sending post cards when owners' pets pass away and telling them to donate the food that was ordered to someone else and refusing to take refunds. Apply this to the gaming company/store space where we have money-hungry fucks like EA and their shitty origin launcher etc and they might actually stand a chance once they hit the online space. They can carve a niche for themselves in the gaming market as a company that genuinely cares and enjoys games and speak directly to the consumer. Just like how they did with pets on chewy. I see that as Gamestop's best value proposition in the future and I genuinely think that if they go in this direction they have a chance of succeeding. However I am not a financial expert, just my two cents

@@deathendz I have a PC and an Xbox. I’ve moved to all digital this year. Steam legitimately has a monopoly the market and will be extremely hard to sway people away. My Xbox also has the Microsoft store with every game along with game pass. GameStop had opportunities in the past to reach several niche markets and esports and just did nothing with it. Their endeavors in the retro scene really hurt them for example. While they could turn things around, I just see this is extremely uphill, especially when their bread in butter is trade ins and most people have gone digital

Wall street makes "magical" money by the power of making things happen by sheer pure money, in this case they were just throwing money to make an unhealthy company (game stop) to disappear, in essence they just have the money to make it happen and every dollar that game stop losses its a "magical" dollar of revenue, the usual business of current day wall street. Whats the difference, this time the sharks bite more than they can chew, and went full ret to the point of betting unhealthy amounts of money in what was expected an easy bet given the circumstances. Meme street by the power the internet called the bet off, a VERY profitable bet in a casino that again WS created by pouring excessive amounts of money, people started to make money in the bet, and now everyone wants a piece, to the point that people are pouring money unto game stop and by the laws of commerce and meme magic the reverse is now true Now for every dollar that game stop makes, its a "magical" dollar that WS losses, and the people investing in GS gains. this is not a permanent situation but it is the situation.

@@OnlyUknow2 My advice would be to keep at it. And don't put all your eggs in one basket especially with such a volatile stock like GME. Keep learning and educating yourself like you are doing now and you ll be just fine!

lesson in this, DO NOT get sentimental or emotional on a stock, so what if you hate it, play it to win, play it to make $$$ and get out when you have made your middle spread. You want to get emotional and non logical about buying stocks then get ready for a huge hair cut when your emotion destroys your balance.
