Nobody will ever beat this man's record, ok he has some fantastic ammunition, but that doesn't make them brilliant, top three in the arc, top 3 in the breeders cup ,guineas, derby oaks,ledger, endless group one's, quite unbelievable what he has achieved. I grew up with the brilliant dr o Brien, the outstanding Cecil stoute dunlop' etc etc but Mr o Brien has just sublimely passed them all,the only thing I can see is his sons trying to hit the heights of Aidan o'Brien.

Results speak for themselves, like him or loathe him. The horses are bred in the purple. The jockeys are top class as are the owners. Magical nearly beat Enable, thats top class. Very friendly at race meetings as is his whole family.The owners get 1 outta 10 for tips on raceday. Nice complement for luck on Sunday.

I'll let you in on a little secret. A great deal of a trainers success depends on him/her hiring good people to work under them. A boss of a big stable doesn't have to be the best horseman in the world, but he has to employ people who are just about that good. It really is a team effort.
