Now, moving on to Metarion. This Deck is described with one sentence: I CAN DO ANYTHING!! (at least in everything related to Fusion Summon) The new cards that Metarion received make it a completely new and renewed Deck. Most of the new cards solve many problems that the Deck had from the beginning without leaving aside its original essence: focusing on Normal Monsters and being an Anti-Type Monster Deck. Imaginary Leading Actor, Evil Baller, Phantasm Mask Master and Imaginary Arc Turnover are the most outstanding cards of the Deck: The first one allows you to prepare GY and perform Fusion Summon if necessary, the second one allows you to change Monster Types to whatever you want, the third one works as a substitute for a Fusion Material of your Cyborg Fusion Monsters and the last one is a rather unique Trap Card that allows Fusion Summon during your Opponent's Turn. Special mention to Metarion Fusion that allows you to spam Fusion Monsters easily due to the reuse of resources when performing a Fusion Summon. Of the Fusion Monsters, Ashurastar and Vritrastar have aged quite well for Fusion Monsters that belong to the SEVENS Era. They are still quite useful as they do what they do best. After them, Medustar is another Fusion Monster that has a rather unique Backrow interruption that can be very useful in various circumstances. The rest of the Fusion Monsters are still situational depending on the matchup. Fullmetarion Ashurastar, ironically, is used more as an Extender than a proper Boss Monster. Despite all this, the Deck still has clear weaknesses: they are vulnerable to being interrupted by Trap Cards, their Boss Monsters have no Protection whatsoever and they are still vulnerable to those Decks whose strategy is to ruin the GY. Still, the Deck has proven to be very competent and has potential for further improvement. In fact, Praime Dwarf's Engine pairs quite well with Metarion. PS: We have a Duel where two Companies fight for survival and supremacy. The cards shown here are quite interesting. - Demolition received a Boss Monster that allows for easier use of Fusegate Scrapgate, as well as recovering it if it is destroyed. This Deck also received new Spell Cards focused on working with Equip Spells and shuffle Wyrm Monsters back into the Deck. - Space Deck received a handful of cards focused on further increasing the Deck's consistency and Draw Power, as well as a Monster to protect your Fusion Monsters from those Book of Moon-type Effects.

We start the new round of new/improved Decks. This time we have, Artoria Pendragon's Deck (Legend) vs Ashiya Douman's Deck (Metarion) Let's talk about Legend Deck. Of the three Decks that received the focus in this Pack, Legend Deck is (along with Metarion) the one that had the most impact on the Meta or has everything it needs to be a competent Deck. Unlike Metarion, Legend Deck has all the pieces it needs to be a consistent Deck, easy to use and effective at what it does. Artoria (Grand Legend Saber) is basically the face of the Deck when it comes to finishing off your Opponent. Frieren (Grand Legend Priest) despite having an Effect that can destroy Maximum Monsters or Level 10 Fusion Monsters, suffers from the fact that there aren't many Maximum Decks in the Meta and Level 10 Fusion Monsters have Protection. Of the three Grand Legends, Priest is the one that ended up disappointing the most since it is not a must to carry Grand Priest in your Deck. Merlin (Grand Legend Magician) is there: it is not the best, but it is not bad either. On top of that, Legend Magician is not as useful in this Deck as one would think. On the other hand, Rush Duels players underestimated Legend Shooter and Legend Hunter quite a bit: in certain scenarios, these two Monsters can end up being more useful and stronger than they appear. The strength of the Legend Deck comes thanks to Legend Slash and Legend Emblem. Slash can destroy anything without problems and give it an additional advantage. Emblem has the powerful Effect of adding any Legend Monster to your Hand: that includes Raiza itself (that Spell Card is the one that many are afraid may break in the future when better Legend Monsters come to Rush Duels) Currently, Legend Deck is being combined with various cards or Decks to see how they can be made stronger: at the end of the day, they are still a stack of LIGHT Monsters of different Types. Praime Dwarf's Engine, oddly enough, does not work well with Legend Deck. Malevolent Seller is also being used in Legend Deck due to its compatibility (same goes for Raiza as your Legend Monster of choice). However, Legend Deck combined with Rush's Blue-Eyes has had some success because, by default, Rush's Blue-Eyes is the best Deck to use Legend Magician/Strike in. Special mention to Legend Priest, which is becoming one of those Monsters that you can put in any Deck that needs to have a Mill Effect to prepare the GY. Basically, Legend Deck is a Deck with a unique mechanic, but it works effectively in what it seeks to do: nothing complicated, but not too simple either. Its Boss Monsters are balanced and the Deck has the potential to be better when better Legend Monsters/Spells/Traps come out.

I did enjoy the legend deck, and I do look forward to seeing which lists do well in the OCG!

What i hate about Metarion in DL,its hard to access Fusion spell via skill and we must put 3 copy Fusion and sometime we have position, there fusion material in field but not have fusion in hand or field. Thats why i really like new support for Metarion especially Imaginary Leading Actor. Legend archetype in other hand,i see its like Adventurer Engine in Master Rule, with lore isekai protag and their party members.

Imagine how frustrating it was to play in the OCG with 40 card decks and no skills whatsoever, we had an even harder time trying to pull off a fusion!
